  Don't buy a twin pack but look at the Makita deals that come with 6.Oah or 5.0 and pick yourself up an extra tool and the batteries you're after and sometimes with a charger dual or single. Also quite often you'll get a redemption tool as well.

    yep, the mower is a good example as it comes with 2x 6.0Ah batteries.
    
    also:
    3x 3Ah = 9Ah total
    vs
    2x 5Ah = 10Ah total, but they are heavier in the hand for all day use via swapping out as they run flat, at least my 6Ah's are..
