      I have over a dozen socket sets, mostly 6-point, but sometimes 12 makes things easier

          Sometimes there's no clearance, tight spot, very little room to move. 12-point is easier to get on the nut and get any ratcheting action

      Highly recommend Bahco if you want 6 point sockets.

      i also prefer 6 point sockets, they grab better and less chance of rounding old nuts and bolts, it’s why impact sockets are 6 point. i think it might be less metal in 12 point socket so cheaper to make and less weight to ship. 40 years ago 12 point was popular as the ratchets were course, those days are long gone.

          I think you're good. I have nfi about the timer. SCA made this deal unnecessarily complicated and low on info on the website

                  @p947387: Was on chat this morning. They honoured it, except they couldn't manually set up the reimbursement for the 6th or whenever the promotion was supposed to give the credit. So they just gave me club credits instantly which I can use immediately and I guess doesn't expire either.. 😅
