Probably a price error.
Ordered last week but had a feeling they were going to charge me by weight instead of per item so wanted to wait for it to arrive before posting. Can confirm it's a whole 250g tub for just over $1 and it's delicious.

Per below, there's a chance that it's QLD only.
I can confirm a few Vic/NSW stores have it at $1.06. Not sure about ACT, SA, NT & WA.
In Sydney, tried a few stores, but not showing any price - perhaps not available in NSW?

I don't think it is a price error. It could be a store specific deal. On online, the ice cream tub is priced at $4.25 from one of my Coles and $1.06 from another Coles in my area.
I'm hearing you. It's just weird how cheap it is. You would expect something like this to retail for closer to $5

I value this at $1.06 …maybe..It’s cream. Show me where you can get 250g of cream cheaper than this.
Price not available for WA, tried a few stores. Can get $1.06 when I change location to Brisbane
Edit: Seems to be out of stock in WA too
$4.25 at all my local SA stores.
Interested to know the OP's best before date as it could be expiration date clearance from certain stores.

I think this price may be online only, as on app set to "In store" it shows $4.25 at my local, but on the website shows $1.06 (same store), can't add to cart though. Will check in store tonight anyway and scan at checkout if there's any left.

I just got the checkout lady to price match
Same, picked up the last 4, scanned at full price but she did a price override. She seemed to already know about it, didn't need to show her price online.
