The second battery is automatically added to your cart for online orders. Total tools often does this for redemption offers too so you don't have to go through the redemption process yourself.

I don’t know what TT want to do in the email, it seems they just mentioned they will mot honour the 2nd free battery, but didn’t mention anything about order cancellation, refund or the first battery. If they decide to deliver the 1 battery and take the money, they just acting like XXXX . Let’s see.
I just logged in and the order is still there with the free battery listed. Might go in store and see.

@NBSales: I just went in store. No free battery. The staff are annoyed they didn't honour this. Apparently lots have been sent out without the free battery so the customer then needs to make the effort to return. Very frustrating!

Gah I missed this! Two of my Dewalt batteries are dead, this would have been perfect
Got my package today and was shocked only one battery was in it. Included invoice showed the 2nd free battery. Some tool at TT put a pen line across free battery item with a note " system error , no free battery". I mean wtf. Why didnt they just call me first. I dont want 1 battery at that price….As their name suggests. Total tools.
