        That's what my window says anyway. The base game is free on Game Pass/Ultimate, and the digital upgrade is $14.99 so it's a $3 saving essentially. Unless it's working for people without a sub?

          I dont think it's the digital upgrade, my email receipt shows the purchase was for the full Digital Deluxe Edition.

        No you don't own the game after you cancel the gamepass sub. You will have no more access to play the game. You don't own the game period unless you actually buy it.

          You don’t “own” it even if you “buy” it digitally. Could still disappear at any point.

          Unfortunately even lots of physical discs don’t even contain a playable game anymore.

            @PainToad: That's true, but at least Microsoft's track record for keeping digital games you have purchased available for download is second to none.
            I have Xbox live arcade games i purchased as far back as 2005 on the Xbox 360 and all are still downloadable in 2023.

I don't count the emulators bc they go against ToS but then too. I'd have to have a squizz in my purchase history when we get back from the gold coast, but there is a couple others.

      Not really the same situation, that was people purposefully gaming the system by cancelling the preorder of the base game after getting the cheaper upgrade - this is $11.99 for the full game from the get go.

    I feel like this is an error because it's suspiciously cheap. Someone was told to discount the Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade and did the whole thing as a mistake.

    However, it definitely is the full edition! I bought it; now to hope they don't pull any nonsense over it.

      I don't think ea titles ever leave ea play. Microsoft umbrella titles never leave game pass. All others come and go.

            @reactor-au: True, I held off on buying that dirt cheap at the end before their licenses expired, thinking the sequel would come out quickly. That was a mistake… only came out recently! At least with that situation they tend to publicise it, or at least sell it dirt cheap to milk some $$$ from the licenses before they disappear.

    My Game Pass Ulimate ends soon, so good timing to buy Dead Space to keep, feels like a price error but its been up long enough.

    Tempted to get the other two, but I would rather spend the $30 on Baldur's Gate 3, not that it will be nearly as cheap for a while.

          I was just watching some gameplay of it and yer it has some anime touches to it now but overall the actual gameplay looks decent. Its no Forza or GT but it does have a story mode which may be a change

          You also need Ultimate to access EA Play, so that's why this deal is available to Ultimate subs. I don't believe any EA games are "Xbox Play Anywhere" titles.
