  • What a banger! Sadly not targeted

Stack with shopback offer https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/819070 so you got paid to buy Domino's

    • has anyone tried? what if CBA rejects claim as you have used offer in conjunction with another offer.

      • +1

I have not tried that yet but don't think they can track shopback offer tho.

      • It will work, I've tried it before (not this particular offer but with a different retailer). Also the CBA T&C does not mention anything.

        • if you have given try with another offer then can try. CBA offer does say in Ts & Cs not to be used in conjunction with another offer

@amsaini15: I believe that is referring to their other offers (eg. StepPay spend $400 get $50 back). This kind of offer is funded by CBA themselves (similar to AMEX or Westpac non SB cashback) and they don't really share any detail with the merchant (except the $ and time) let alone CR/SB.

            • @foxes28: awesome!

            • @foxes28: No, merchants signed up to CBA Yello Rewards to participate. There's an AFR article about it recently.

              • @Neoika: I stand corrected. The article says it could be funded by either party (not always by merchant themselves). Personally, I've never experienced rejection for stacking bank/CC cashback offers (CBA/Westpac non SB/AMEX) with cashback offers from CR/SB.

The deals are mostly funded by merchants to acquire new customers, while CBA is co-funding some of the offers to boost their attractiveness as it tries to get its customers to keep coming back to its app.

Seems you got to have 30+ outward transaction from your CBA account in the previous month to get decent offers
I finally got Yello access .. but only 5 transactions tracked giving access to te lower tier this month -sigh-

    • Curious where did you get the 30 figure from? I only do a few transactions (mostly CC payment via BPAY and cash withdrawal) with them every month and still get these offers.

      • +2

30 + transactions just has a few added benefits

        • 500 CommBank Awards bonus points each month on your Smart Awards credit card
        • One entry per month into a prize draw – 100 customers each month will win $300

        • Thanks I wasn't aware of this. So I must fall under the Everyday category. Though it seems they don't really give better offers for Everyday Plus or Homeowner.

      • Think there are 3 Account types
        1. Everyday - 5 transactions
        2. Everyday Plus - 30+ transactions
        3. Homeowner

Do you have a Loan account with the CBA?

        • +1

Nope - no loan no CC with CBA. Just a transaction account for nearly 10 years.

  • I recently opened a smart access account. How can I get the yello offers?

  • Seems like I wasn’t offered this but just got a lil deal to use to see Wonka.

  • Compliant with all the requirements and still can't see the pizza in offers

    • +1

Meeting all requirements gives you access to Yello. The offers however can vary, hence targeted
