Just picked one up from the Altona Gate (VIC) branch, but had to ask a staff because the stock are not on display

  • I wouldn't pay that much for a rusty cart.

FYI, these are not good on the beach. You want something with wider wheels for the sand. Also not good if you're going to be pulling across concrete much as the wheels will crack. You want pneumatic for that. These are fine for picnics on the grass though.

    I have extensive wagon experience…

    • Do you just buy spare wheels and keep changing depending on terrain needed?

      • You could get something with wide pneumatic wheels so it works for all terrain.

      • I got multiple new wagons sent as replacements until I bought some cheap pneumatic wheels from AliExpress and they've lasted years.

Could you please recommend a specific cart for the beach? Thanks!

This always gets good reviews and goes on sale regularly. Not quite Pneumatic Tyres, but goes infinitely better on the beaches then some others I've seen.

Ours has had a tough life carting around kids, supplies, beach gear, eskis, other stuff for 3+ years and is still going strong.

      • Just something with wide wheels. I have the vuly beach wagon and it's fine.

  • Rustic?!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  • 17.6cm wheels for wheeling on sand

Looks like it has rubber or plastic wheels (Doesn't say in the description), wouldn't it be better to have pneumatic (air filled) tyres for uneven surfaces?

  • Wondering if anyone knows how these compare to the ones from SCA or BCF?
    (BCF > SCA)
