How do people still not know this… It's not as if it's a remotely hard to understand concept - it's almost like they've had to actively learn the wrong thing.

I can only assume all their savings are currently in Vietnamese Dong. Why isn't everyone going down to the currency exchange office to get rid of all their AUD - their money would increase in value by 16,000% instantly, beats any savings account or investment strategy!

  • Looks great mate. I am keeping tabs for Melbourne to Vancouver in Aug-24

  • carry on luggage up to 10 kgs or extra $300+ for more still probably a good deal when you think about it if your buy yourself.

    • How much is food on the flight?

  • Great deal, but is it worth the torture on a 12 hour flight to save a few bucks?

I flew SYD-ATH return earlier this year (bought the ticket last year) for a bit cheaper than this current special.
As you can see I paid $68 for food. I later bought exit aisles for $317. No checked luggage.

I found the experience to be fine although I had a long stopover in SIN on the way back. But it didn't really inconvenience me.

EDIT: I can recommend Emporikon Athens Hotel when in Athens.

    • @Eeples, would you recommend exit row seats?

I understand they can be narrower than regular seats because the tray table is in the seat arm instead of it swinging down from the seat in front?

I wouldn't recommend the one right next to the door; as you might get limited leg space.

I would recommend the ones not right next to the toilets.

Yes, I would say they are narrower.

What's all of these junk ads on the top of the website? Making the site unusable on mobile. Then I got stuck on a grey screen which I couldn't remove. Appalling mobile UX. Had to abandon the site.

  • Careful, scoot are unreliable with their schedules. They cancelled a flight last time and it meant I had to kill many an hours in Singapore as a result. I suspect it could be on purpose so you have to dosh out money for other things to feed the local economy.

  • Prices no longer seem accurate. Atleast for Syd departures
