  • Just be careful what they give to you. There's an old and a new version of the e6

  • Hmm really tempted! Moving into my new house in 6-7 months and i have been wanting a super auto for a while. Is this as good deal as i am going to get until then?

    • I highly doubt that you will get a better fully automatic one for less

      • Missus said not now unfortunately 😔

        • i can feel you bro

        • +3

That's mistake you nađe. You buy first and explain later.

  • +1

This is a pretty great deal.

  • Great deal - I've had a Jura for years and years and it makes a great coffee (as far as fully autos go…)

  • bought e8 for $1700

    feeling stupid now

    • It was only $1400 a couple of weeks ago too. I've been looking to replace my almost ancient F6 and the E8 took my fancy, but this deal is even more tempting again.

  • ordered 1, thanks op! im upgrading from a philips lattego to this. hopefully wont be disappointed :)

  • This is amazing deal…. need to resist!!!

  • Has anyone tried these before? How do they compare to manual coffee machines, such as the Barista Express? I've been using the Barista Express for the past 5 years and have been quite happy with it.I'm keen to find out how the flavor and froth of these automatic machines compare.

  • Will this do a Piccolo?

  • OK I have a look at the videos, it looks like a modernised version of their Z series.

There use to be a Z7 in our office long time ago. One big issue is the cleaning. They have a cleaning procedure, but the machine is mostly sealed so you can't take the grinder and infuser out for deep clean. That I REALLY have a issue as I don't know what is stuck in the machine. Eventually one of the staff took it and take it apart, trust me you don't want to know what the internal looks like after all that years!!

    • +1

You are not meant to use it "all that years" without servicing it.

  • Does anyone else find that the automatic machines don't froth milk as good as the manual breville ones? (asking based on my experience with delonghi automatics)

    • +2

I would say they froth better then what most people produce with a manual machine, but can't compare vs what someone who knows what they are doing can get (if that makes sense)

      • Thanks. Makes sense. With the De'Longhi, the froth used to feel lumpy.

  • nice find OP.

  • thanks op. bought this.

  • Be wary of the finished beverage temperature. I like my milky coffee served hot, milk steamed to 80º. Not every fully auto can do this.
