  Worth paying more for C845 as that's mini led and C745 is qled?

    Maybe - just depends on budget and personal preference and needs. C845 is objectively(?) the better TV and is well-reviewed but the C745 is still great value I think. Size is not the be all and end all but a 75" C745 is the same price as the 65" C845 in this sale.

    Worth paying more for C845

    Depends on how you use it, if you are going to put the TV in an open living space with lot of windows and daytime viewing is important then C845 is definitely the better choice, because it’s a lot brighter and has a much better anti-glare screen. However, if you can control the lights and reflections (i.e: put the TV in a dedicated theatre room) then it may not make a huge difference.

    Both are QLED TVs, the C845 uses hundreds of mini LEDs for the backlight therefore it can get a lot brighter with more precise local dimming, whereas the C745 uses a far fewer number of normal LEDs.

    P.S: Bought a C845 from the black Friday deal when the C845 was even cheaper than now, I needed a TV that works well for day time viewing and under bright ambient light, so it was the ideal choice for me.

  The C745 55” could be had for $850 delivered, via TGG eBay store during Black Friday, so I can’t bring myself to pay any more. HODL.
