        It actually works really well for titles these days, it's a great value CPU. Most games are more GPU intensive than CPU. CPU utilisation rarely hits 100% on a 7500F with 4070 Ti in a gameplay test - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7-rV18fRlg. You can see GPU is always nearly at 100% in gameplay.

      Hard to say, couriers are working on and off sadly :(. So many deliveries for them as well, they're working on overdrive. We are working every business day except public holidays so rest assured you'll get your system as soon as possible. I'd say you'll get it around Christmas if there aren't any extensive delays with couriers!

        We're in Bankstown now as we needed a much bigger workshop and storage solution. You can pick up near the Sydney CBD if you prefer during this awkward time for couriers. This way we can almost guarantee it'll be with you before Christmas.

      I remember this case, was this the 2TB Barracuda HDD case? The last email I sent to them was that we have warehouse CCTV footage of us unpacking and installing it. We did a very lengthy thorough internal investigation as we pride ourselves on service and quality, the evidence is clear on our end that's why we mentioned something shady was happening. The images they sent us show that the cable management was changed (most likely they removed the HDD as it couldn't be removed unless the PSU is removed. We mount them with screws on the side.). The order sheet from our QC employee and tech showed the 2TB HDD was installed, the picker for the system is also different to add as many firewalls as possible to reduce the chance of error. If we had made a mistake, we would without a doubt own up to it and provide a remedy. I'm not interested in doing any dodgy business like not providing a hard drive. We've built and sold thousands on OzBargain thus far.

      I don't feel like it's okay to make it public but I can share the camera footage of the HDD being unpacked and installed for the exact system that they received.

        Sorry Fooah, but if Nebula have and are prepared to show cctv of the HDD being installed and say that other stuff had to be removed to remove the hdd, I'm going to have to side with them unless you can somehow show proof of your friend unboxing the pc and the HDD not being in it.
        Not just a picture of the HDD being gone, because anyone can remove a HDD then take a picture.

          Honestly my take on the whole situation is Nebula (due to their positive service reviews that I can see) must truly believe they have packed and shipped it to him.

          But he never received the HDD. Its a bizarre situation and we assume it somehow went to somebody else.

            @Fooah: We thought about that as well, what if we sent the wrong rig. We watched the footage and all parts match exactly what he ordered and received, no one else had purchased a 2TB hard drive within 15 orders before or after and each other between theirs were distinctly different so it's impossible that the wrong one was built or sent. All other components match up and are exactly as ordered. Seriously very odd, it's as if the courier or someone at the depot just decided to open it and tape it back up with our custom tape and removed the hard drive and put it all back together. I won't say it's impossible but I can't think of anything else.

                Objectively speaking if there were to be any wrongdoing on their end, it would be something like a secondary drive. If any other core component were missing the rig wouldn't work properly and wouldn't have passed QC. It's just bizarre, one of the last emails I sent them was to think maybe if he might've misplaced it after installing his own HDD or if someone else might've had access to the system itself. Could've been a silly I forgot thing, but I'm not sure!

            So either the courier opened up the package and randomly helped themselves to a specific component, or your friend is shady

            Because if they say they have it, it's kinda trumping anything he can say unless he has video footage of him opening the sealed box with the computer and showing the HDD missing from the start

        What sort of system requires you to remove the PSU to remove a HDD. Isn't that very inconvenient if you want to add and remove hard drives

          It was a value case on the smaller side and had fewer features to reduce cost. It didn't have a tray that could be removed easily, mounting points were on the top, side and bottom. The easiest way to mount and secure the HDD is from the side and you can't access the Phillips head screws with the PSU next to it. No space for a screw driver unless you use a ratchet. That's why the PSU has to be removed :).

      I don't see why a company with a good reputation would go out of their way to rip off a customer a 2TB HDD …. a 2TB HDD is pretty much peanuts …

        Would also be very strange for a courier to go through the effort of grabbing a 2TB HDD and leaving the rest. In saying that though also very strange to try rip off the company just for the extra hard drive and nothing else I couldn't imagine anyone doing that, couldn't have costed that much?

          I suspect he was low on money, why else would you get a second 2TB HDD and not upgrade the SDD instead? Or get a larger cap HHD.

      Agreed, I'm very tempted to get this and bump up the RAM to 32gb… but I'm a bit worried about postage to WA.
      What mitigation would be put in place for the installed GPU so it doesn't sag? Same for CPU cooler if that was upgraded (not sure how floppy these are).

        All PCs come with packing material stuffed inside the internals so that nothing can move. I haven't had many issues shipping to WA, if anything does happen shipping insurance covers all costs :). CPU cooler is a soft metal, sometimes can be moved a little bit but can easily be put back straight.

        Bump up the cooler and mobo. Ram you can upgrade later if you need it.
        Most of the time 16GB is enough.

            Mobo, CPU, PSU, hard to change in a few years time, so it better to get something future proof.
            RAM, GPU, SSD, you can easily upgrade them in a few years time.

                Yes - MSI PRO B650M MORTAR WI-FI
                The B-series mobo is better (more future proof, runs cooler, better ports) than the A-series, but it is $150 more, so depends if you want to pay more for those extras.

                When I ordered my PC, I made the mistake of not getting the wifi mobo.
                USB wifi is less than ideal.

      Added, please keep in mind default NX200M won't clear a 4070 ti. You'll need a small case upgrade before the 4070 Ti's show up :).

    Hi, with the $1,888 system, does it come with wi-fi or do I need to buy an adapter? The motherboard says wi-fi but the summary specs state no wifi or Bluetooth so a bit confused and not good with this sort of thing. Thanks.

      If you mean in the "support" section I'm pretty sure that's only talking about USB adapters, with the "no wifi" meaning only onboard networking. If motherboard has built in wifi then you definitely won't need one of the adapters they offer.

    1) Is there an option to upgrade the SSD

    2) If needed, can we add our own SSD/HDD and extra RAM in the future?

    3) Any recommended (budget-friendly) upgrades (ie: Mobo, CPU, PSU) to ensure the build is more future-proof?

      4. Aftermarket air cooler like the AK500 and a MSI PSU :). If you have the budget for a higher end case it’ll be a good idea also.

      I'd say just an aftermarket air cooler and more storage if you need it. The case can be upgraded to your liking (subjective). Otherwise, a very well-balanced rig.

      Air coolers are great, personally prefer them much over liquid for reliability and noise reasons. This is a good video about this from a few years ago - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr0qLLv3dKc

      AIO options are available but you'll need a B650 series motherboard as this A620 board doesn't support the 3-pin RGB header for AIOs.

    Is it worth getting the 4080 over the 4070Ti if mainly 1440p gaming is the aim paired with the 7800X3D? really struggling to decide whether to spend the extra $$$ on the 4080 if I dont even have a 4k monitor

      No, it's not really worth it in my opinion. 4080 is more targeted towards 4K gaming and "future-proofing". Otherwise, the 4070 Ti is well more than enough. If your budget allows then why not go for a 4080 haha!

      For future proofing might be worth it, just so you'll still be killing games at 1440p at high frames for years to come and can always make the leap to 4K if you want.

      But also depending on your monitor refresh rate the 4080 might be overkill
