No Afterpay and No Zip. Such a shame.

      • +4

I don't think that is the right word to use… They charge an extortionate amount in fees, this simply goes into the markup of the product which is something I do not want to do. The fees they charge would mean we are selling below cost, our margins are already razor razor thin. I need to use the lowest fee payment processors to keep our price as low as possible for OzBargain. PayPal Pay in Four is available for you, it's fortnightly instalments. Super similar to Afterpay and Zip.

I am happy to enable Afterpay or Zip for you and have their fee difference incorporated in for your order, let me know if that works for you :).

        • Thanks for the update. I just recall this was being explored last year and I understand the fees and explanation.

Recommending to upgrade memory to 32GB for the 4080 one.

    • +2

For the 4070 ti one as well

  • +1

How quiet are these builds if you were running everything on max vs medium?

    • +2

As quiet as it gets for the performance you get out of these rigs. We've opted for air coolers for this reason, so it's quiet. DeepCool coolers are the ultimate value and aren't loud whatsoever. We have Noctua options as well which are the higher-end air coolers, they're even quieter.

If you're local to Sydney, drop by our workshop and you can see one of these rigs in action under full or medium load and determine if it's quiet enough for you :).

Good review on the top Air coolers that also compares temp control with noise.

    • Don't forget the PSU fan if you prefer a quiet work environment when you aren't at max or medium. Some PSUs have passive cooling/zero RPM mode. Fan doesn't spin up until a certain wattage is reached. I know for sure that Corsair do them, but others do as well. Adds a bit more to the cost but makes a big difference for those who care about reducing noise.

  • +4

Bought the 4080 deal when it was on special for Black Friday and couldn't be happier. Put together perfectly, really nicely cable managed and good selection of path and upgrade options. I ended up upgrading RAM and storage, and swapped to an AIO cooler (personal preference)

    • +2

      Cheers legend :D

  • I know you probably don't want to spoil any plans but do you guys have anything cooking for boxing day?

    • +1

Ah super fast industry, things come up very fast or not. Nothing is planned as of yet but these systems are part of our end-of-year Christmas sales!

  • Why I can't used the code for the discounted price? It shows $3448.

    • In checkout you can enter the code, which code are you using? For Brava it's OZB_BRAVA_SPECIAL

      • Just ordered the 4080 build, how fast is the shipping? I'm from Adelaide and hope to have a pc to play games by next week. Does the PC come with a built system so I can just plug in and go?

        • Cheers for your order! Once dispatched shipping to Adelaide is roughly 2-4 business days, aiming to get these orders out before Christmas.

Yes, it'll come plug and play.

          • @Nebula PC: Thanks, any chance if I can have the original packaging for the all the internal parts? Such as GPU, CPU, cooler, ssd etc, I like to have them makes it easier to sell when I want to upgrade. I don't need the packaging for the case, just for the parts that can fit in the case, cheers .

            • @maddoggie101: It'll be flat packed, we can try fit as many as we can yes.

  • Just bought one, Lawrence! Looking forward to getting my hands on it!

    • +1

      Thanks! You're awesome :D.

  • Keep up the good work mate

    • Thanks Chris, people like you keeps us going :).

  • +1

I was wondering if you guys have any Radeon GPU deals coming up? I missed out on that amazing RX 7800XT deal you had unfortunately. Thanks in advance :)

    • Yep also interest in 7800xt builds

      • +1

Also interested but for 7900 XTX

        • +1

Not in the books currently, mostly focusing on NVIDIA as we have had less trouble overall as much as I hate to say it. AMD GPUs have been hit or miss for us with everything. Stock, software, pricing, reliability, value etc…

If an opportunity comes up we'll definitely do a deal!

If you're after our 7800XT Astra deal I still have a handful left just for sales outside of OzBargain, I'm happy to honour the same OzBargain deal pricing for you. Shoot me a message and we'll sort you out with a custom discount code.

  • Looking to get a new PC and get back into gaming. Been following your deals for a while now and decided to get something in time for the Christmas break.

I would like to game at 1440p so thinking the 4070ti is what I need. Would you recommend this deal or your nightfall special? Wouldn't mind spending around the 2k mark but happy to speed up a little if it is worthwhile.

    Thanks!

    • +2

This 4070ti build is quite a bit better than their nightfall special however you are paying ~460 more for the build here.
7800x3d vs 7500f - the 7800x3d is considered one of the best current CPUs whereas the 7500f is AMD's entry level CPU for AM5, I'd say this alone is worth the extra price
B650M vs A620M - big step up over an entry level motherboard. If you plan to upgrade your CPU down the line, the B650 will generally handle things better.
16GB 5600 vs 16GB 5200 - not a huge difference you'll find here, I'd personally go for a ram upgrade especially on this build but you can always do that later on, one of the easiest parts to self-service.
MSI Spatium vs PNY CS1031 - neither of these are amazing SSDs however the Spatium easily outperforms the PNY drive, gen 4 rather than a gen 3 drive and double the storage.
Power supply and case are the same from what I can tell. PSU isn't great but will get the job done, case is personal preference really, from a quick look has decent enough airflow.

TLDR: if you can afford the extra, I'd definitely go the 7800x3d build over the 7500f build, performance should be a noticeable bump up here.

      • Appreciate the comparison. Very tough decisions to make as I don't get as much time for games these days.
Would love to just spend up to really enjoy the time when I can but after doing some research I am unsure if I need such a powerful PC for the amount I'll be using it.

    • 7800X3D definitely gives the rig much more grunt if your budget allows, otherwise our Nightfall 4070 Ti system will also rock for 1440P gaming.

  • Do the discounts still apply even if we upgrade the system using the configuration from the website. I would like a Liquid cooled system if possible, and also 32gb of ram so I was just curious.

    • +1

      They do. Worked on mine.

    • +1

Yes, absolutely. The starting point will be the advertised discounted price :).

  • Sorry I may have missed it - Win 11 included (activated?
    Cheers

    • No Second page of options it is $149 for Home and $219 for Pro

    • Windows is an additional cost from Microsoft that we don't want to pass on to our customers. That's how we can keep our prices so low with our razor-sharp margins!

  • Purchased one of the Deadlock systems during Black Friday and can vouch that the system performs flawlessly with little to no noise. Lawrence was super helpful with putting it together and knowing which parts to upgrade or keep as is (for my specific needs) so definitely recommend! The support and quality of the machine is top notch.

  • Anyone have any thoughts on the Darkflash Cases? Can't seem to find many reviews online. Considering upgrading to the Lian Li ones so would appreciate any info on this thanks

    • +1

They're great value cases! That's why we stock them :). Lian Li are much better in quality and feature, the fans are also PWM powered meaning you can control them. The DarkFlash fans are a set speed.

Though they're definitely more popular in the Eastern market than here.

      • Do any of the FANTECH CG80, DARKFLASH DK361 or ANTEC AX90 have PWM?

        • +1

CG80 and DK361 are not PWM, AX90 is.

  • Just wanted to mention I was expecting some shipping delays being in WA when I bought the Deadlock deal. No problems. Came in a timely manner and good working order. Lawrence was easy to contact during the whole time.

    • Cheers mate, yeah couriers during this period are unpredictable. Super busy time, glad you got it without too much delay.

  • damn, wish I didnt have to pay tax this year on my return :(

  • Just ordered. So far very smooth and accommodating. I wanted a case with front top audio jacks and USBs and I believe it was Lawrence added a FANTECH CG80 option for a minimal price bump. Very happy with the transaction so far.

    • +1

      :D

  • I purchased from NebulaPC before. Great build, great communication.

I have a love/hate relationship with seeing Nebula PC posts.
It's great to see good deals, but also I get fomo on some posts with equivalent specs to mine, because I'm thinking: "I should have got this instead".
But overall positive attitude towards these posts.

    • +1

Haha, I have the same feeling, this industry is so fast-paced and sometimes I feel bad for customers who purchased before. Super hard for me to predict future pricing and promos :(. Lots of that comes up last minute!

Then again it can also go the other way as well!

  • Would someone possibly mind suggesting what upgrades to do with an extra $500.00 on the 4080 system (I'll then apply the discount).
I know the very basics, but a lot of you know this stuff way better that I.

Machine will be used for gaming, and 4k video editing and photo editing including processes like stacking 100's of photos for astro photography.
In regards to cooling and case. I am in the country and I cannot avoid dust as I need large windows open in this room (if that matters).

    Thanks very much in advance.

    • +1

I'd say definitely a 32GB RAM upgrade to allow for better multitasking and a higher-end case that's easier to take apart and clean like the Lian Li Air Mini. No fancy lights on that one, just pure performance and usability.

    • +1

      32gb ram
      MSI MAG A850GL power supply
Add extra SSD storage yourself later as needed

Maybe the wifi motherboard if you need wifi (although a pricey upgrade)

  • Are these stock based deals or do they have a certain time frame? If they do, how long is the deal running for?

    • Until we sell out typically.

      • If it isn't classified. How much stock do you currently have on hand atm?

        • We have a good amount for now, I can't say sorry :(.

  • Any chance for a cheap as 3080 build for my son only play Roblox and Fortnite?

    • No chance at all for this one, this model is end of life and no one can get stock anymore. You can try the second hand market. For Roblox and Fortnite I would say in general you don’t need a 3080. Our Raze 4070 system will be well more than enough and much lower priced than 7800X3D systems! :)

  • Any hints on a boxing day deal? I will be out of the country until next January and would love to purchase at the end of December

    • +1

Nothing at all special planned, these are our end of year Christmas sales! Plenty of freebies for this current deal. For boxing day it’d be last minute if anything does come up. Typically boxing day is underwhelming from experience :(.

  • damn should have waited for this instead of the 4070 :/
    Such a good deal.

  • +1

Probably a silly question but here goes: can the freebies / promotional items be removed and the value credited into the cost?

    • No sorry, it's a vendor-supported promotion. It's funded by PNY/NVIDIA/AMD. We have a 2% instant cashback promotion happening sitewide with PayID payment though!

      • Oh well. Thanks for the reply.

        • You're free to sell the items when you get them though! Can get you around $100 back :).

  • Is it possible to get it delivered to New Zealand? Thanks.

    • Replied to your email!

  • Does the code still apply if the RAM gets upgraded to 64GB?

    • Yes, the price will start at the OzBargain special price.

  • +3

I went with the 4080 PC with a fast 1TB SSD and the Ares 6400Mhz RAM as my only changes.

Order was made on the 13th.
PC arrived today (minus bonus headset, still in transit) in Melbourne.

Was honestly expecting it after Xmas with potential delays.

I added my own 4TB SDD. Checked with Nebula before I did this in case it voided my warranty, I was assured it would be fine, as long as I didn't cause any damage.

Started it up and bing bang boom, it's ready to rock n roll.

Very impressed by the responses from Nebula to questions, impressed by the build and packing. All round an very good experience. And a competitive price to boot.

I would definitely recommend Nebula for people wanting a prebuild PC.

  • +2

My Legion 5 Pro of only 2 years since brand new ($2.5K) died on Christmas eve. Out of warranty. No bios, no lights, no fans, no post. Got a quote from lenovo for $1900 to replace motherboard. Goodbye lenovo.

Purchased the 4080 deal just now. Thank you Nebula 👍
See you in a few days 😊

  • hi, will you be getting 'PNY XLR8 GAMING GEFORCE RTX 4080 OC - 16GB' in stock before this promo ends?

    • Negative, nearly all are sold out. Only a handful left.

  • Sup L Dog, will this smash out Homeworld 3 in max settings. I want to see those fighters humming!

    • Yes, I'd imagine so!
