Can we request to upgrade the momory (32GB) and storage (1TB)?

    • +6

      Hi @ktabz,

Yes of course, in the product builder when you click go to deal you’ll be able to upgrade RAM to 32GB and storage to 1TB :).

  • I already got the OZB_GUARDIAN_SPECIAL build https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/802709 but I think this one is better!
    Should have waited :-)

    • +4

Haha they’re both good in their own way! Your performance per dollar on AMD GPUs are definitely better.

  • Any 4060ti+13400f deal please?

    • +1

4060 is coming soon but not 4060Ti and Intel, value isn't there at all for the combo there sorry :(.

  • OP the OZB_KILLJOY_SPECIAL code is not working on the 7900XTX build

    • +1

      Fixing now, one sec.

Edit: Fixed, could you please check on your end?

  • buy now or wait till january?

    • +1

Haha, it's always a struggle with that question, GPU prices have been tough these days. They've only gone up since EOFY, you can see that with every deal. Hard to predict the future but it depends on your circumstances. These are the best deals we have as of now :).

      • Can't wait for 4070Ti Super

  • Any chance of swapping out the 7900XTX for a 4080?

    • Not at this stage sorry :(. The 7900XTX is a much better value for 4K gaming in terms of performance per dollar. The 4080 prices are crazy for us right now and we don't want to pass on this cost to you. I would strongly consider the 7900XTX if you're in the market for a high-end PC :).

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

    • Just saying Bpc tech has a 4080 deal for 3000 which I think is very good value if you are looking for such build.

      • +3

That deal is ripper, I'd go with them if you're after a 4080 without a doubt!

        • -1

Yeah make me almost feel bad building a new pc myself for over 3k.

          • @jenesis33: my 6700XT AM5 setup costed me close to 2k as well without any peripherals T.T

  • Is this PC any good for trying out some of the ai image generators?

    • I believe the 12GB VRAM should be more than enough for AI image generation, great value if you plan on using it for that and gaming.

  • Any of these would be good as a rendering machine for Lumion?

    • +1

Yes absolutely. According to their recommended specs, this build exceeds the requirements for the GPU and CPU - https://lumion.com/product/system-requirements.

They do recommend a gold PSU and 32GB RAM that you'll need to upgrade on our builder.

  • +3

step 1 spend 2k on pc
step 2 realise only 6 corez, 60% of cost is gpu
    step 3 cry

    • +1

How to make a good gaming PC 101

    • 60% is a fact of life now. It may change a little in the future though who knows, it might even get worse.

      • or you know you can downgrade a bit play on lower settings, crazy concept

but I get it cpu prices are a rip off too, still 8 cores should be standard by now

    • Does gaming @ 1440P bring you extra-enjoyment comparing to 1080P…can you put a value on it 🤔

  • TechFast is doing Ryzen 5 7500F, RTX 4070Ti 12GB, AMD B650, 32GB 5200MHZ RAM, 1TB M.2, 750 80+ Gold PSU For $1828
More RAM SSD and better MB
    Thoughts?

    • +3

As long as you don't mind what parts you get.. they aren't transparent on the build.
Nebula is famous for great customer service and if you pay a bit extra you have that peace of mind should a problem arise.

    • +1

Half the components have no make/model number. A complete mystery bag. Wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.
They should rebrand themselves as TechFastFingers!

    • +1

1 year return to base warranty as opposed to 3 year pickup and return warranty from nebula

    • +9

They’re awesome at what they do! If you’re price driven and don’t mind what the above fellow members mentioned, I’d strongly recommend going with them. We unfortunately need to make at least a little room for our service and warranty. I’m writing this 8:30PM at night on a Saturday night haha!

      • Understandable. I was asking the community for their opinion. Since I'm still evaluating the options to buy.
        Appreciate your hard work Lawrence.

  • This sounds sick do you recommend any upgrades to the offer. It's a shame Alan Wake 2 was so pox because it looked fantastic.

    • I'd say the 32GB RAM kit and definitely an aftermarket cooler like the AK400. A lot of AAA titles are more demanding on RAM now and the stock AMD wraith cooler isn't that great.

If you'd like more features, you can opt for the B650M-P motherboard as well :).

      • -2

Thanks Lawrence it's clear that all the other computer stores suck pole

  • +1

Whilst this is yet another good deal, I'm always wondering why many if not most deals from sellers all come with a micro ATX motherboard instead of a nice sized ATX. I much prefer more input/output ports and more room in a case for airflow that a small case/MB just can't offer.

    • Hi Trainingwheelz,

It’s actually a simple answer. The mATX boards are just better value than ATX. ATX boards cost a fair bit more with no performance benefit typically. Most cases we use actually are compatible with ATX boards so size wise it’s great. I/O ports don’t really change much whether it’s mATX or ATX size to my knowledge. You can compare the B650M-P with the B650-P for example.

The market trend these days are smaller rigs rather than big airflow focussed ones. We still provide the option for large cases with spectacular airflow like the Lancool 216 for you to choose! Along with an ATX motherboard choice.

      • The last micro ATX gaming PC I bought from an Ozbargain advertiser less than a year ago made me choose between having the front USB headers connected to the single port on the micro ATX motherboard and the wifi card I had to buy separately to be able to have an internet connection to the PC. They both required the same header port so I had to buy an additional double adaptor. There's also no room for more than 1 M.2 card. The options are just more limited with the micro versions. Of course they are cheaper.

        • That is correct, the second PCIE slot is typically covered. As an alternative and cost-effective solution, we offer a USB Wi-Fi adaptor for that reason.

For B650M-P there's a second NVME slot :). Also should have a spare USB header on the motherboard if you need to use it, depending on your configuration.

  • Do y'all accept rtbs for upgrades? Say in a year I wanna upgrade to the 7950x3d and a 4090 can I send it back to y'all for that? Also what's the difference between the pny and adata 32gb kits? They're both 6000mhz but neither has the cas latency noted in their description

    • Yes, we can organise a cleaning service and upgrades down the track if you'd like of course.

Just looks with those kits, the specifications are nearly identical.

      • Noted. What happens to old parts in that case y'all keep em or they get sent back? Presuming the customer doesn't remove them themselves before sending.

        • You will receive them back and you can determine what you'd like to do with them, whether sell on the marketplace or use for another build.

          • +1

@Nebula PC: Got it. About the ram though specifically what cl are those two kits? Even among the exact name kits online the cl varies and only you will know which type you have

            • @Oh123456: CL40 for ADATA and PNY.

              • @Nebula PC: Good info. Leaving this here for anyone else that has similar questions and reads the comments like I did. Thanks rep.

  • Just pull the trigger at $2018 pickup.

  • I'm looking to get something like this for work, any chance the invoice can show "work computer" or something similar?

    • How would it showing “work computer” make any difference to tax purposes lol.

      • Our invoices don't mention gaming computer by default - it mentions the system name.

  • Does anyone know how that 7900xtx build and price compared to the recent bpc 4800 deal?

  • how does 7900xtx performance compared to 4080
    on 4k gaming ?

    • Raw performance it performs better on 4K, 4080 has better software with DLSS and Ray Tracing if that matters to you.

  • Are all parts in all builds new? Basically every deal from this site is cheaper than a self build and more convenient which is good but does that mean there is a diceroll of getting a refurb?

    • Yes, of course, everything is brand new. I'm not interested in using refurbished or second-hand parts and potentially have warranty issues, we need to claim directly with our supplier. If you're local to Sydney feel free to drop by and you can pick your own order and see the brand new cartons yourself before we build :). You can cross reference each serial number to ensure it was the exact same one you picked :D.

We get a bulk discount from our suppliers for the parts we purchase and pass this discount to you guys with the whole system. It's all volume-based, our margins are extremely slim.

      • Not worried about part swapping just a good ask to be sure. Thanks.

        • If you want just for you I can increase the price so it's not cheaper than getting the parts yourself and building? If that gives you more peace of mind haha.

Just kidding, yes absolutely all parts are brand new. Only will give us more trouble if we do shady business.

  • any options to change GPU as part of the deal?
Are there any other mobo options?

    • Yes, I haven’t added the PNY 4070 Ti XLR8 Gaming OC model. Were you after that one?

      • sorry i was referring to the 7800x3d package

        • That combo is for the 7900XTX only, if you’d like another GPU you can try upgrade paths on our Nightfall deal.

There are other motherboard options available as well on the Killjoy 7900XTX deal. I can add the B650M Mortar.

  • it says the price is $1888, but on the deal, it is at $2088. I was about to place an order if the $1888 deal is still valid.

    • +1

It is valid, you need to put the OZB_NIGHTFALL_SPECIAL code in checkout.

  • Awesome deal just ordered this morning!
Any estimate when this will arrive as I'm in Melbourne?
    Thanks.

    • +1

      Cheers!

Will be roughly 7-10 business days for despatch and once picked up by the courier typically next business day delivery for Metro Melbourne :D.

      • Cheers!

      • +1

any updates on progress @Nebula PC?

Put in an order I think 24th and have not seen any further shipping updates. Still within your 7-10 day window, but the boys are chomping so I thought I will check in.

        • +1

I'm not sure what your order number is but we're chomping through as many as we can. Working all week, have so many to go through haha! Will likely be toward the end of the 7-10 business days window.

You can email me your order number and I'll check how far it is.

  • Is this deal still available?
The discount code is not working.

  • Hi,

Will this pc support game play with steam on a Samsung 85" and will it look like playing on a ps5?

    Thanks for your help

    • +1

I'd assume so yes, this rig is made for 4K gaming.

      • Thanks for confirming :)
