  • That first review isn't very comforting especially for a controller that costs this much.

$200 isnt far away from a Logitech g920…

  • It's not a great controller nor is it worth that money. This is really for the fans of Forza, who like the theme.

      released may 23
      mechanical clicky buttons
      4 back pedals
      d pad, analog swapable
      pretty theme
bonus wheel module for racing gamers
only thing puts me off is the micro usb
      has been $300+ until this

The elite controller is a more reliable controller if the analogue/d-pad swap is your kinda thing.
Otherwise better to get a controller with hall effect sensors for half the price.
I really appreciate custom themed controllers but the price they are charging for something using dated technology is a little worrying. This is the same for things such as Asus ROG controller and razer raikiri.

I don't know man, if you really want to try it I guess Amazon is the right place, you have 30 days to return

Agree with maverickjohn. Sometimes you have to look more than the RRP. For around the same price, you can get the Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller (which you can also customise and looks way better IMO).

QC on the elite controllers is awful. No idea on the QC of the thrustmaster controller, but it would be difficult for it to be worse than microsoft's.

          • @SaddenAscentAspirin: Yeah, bumpers still massive issue on Elites too. They will fail, just a matter of time.

Good controller though, I'm on my 2nd Elite in just over 2 years

            • @MambaZone: True QC is an issue unfortunately. Thanks for mentioning it.
I'm on my second one as well and it's going strong however if it encounters another issue, I won't be buying another that's for sure.

              • @driew: I bought mine at JB and got the extra care when I bought it ($50)

Called them up 2 weeks ago to claim on the plan as bumpers started to not work properly and they replaced it free. Got the extra care on this one as well so that when bumpers fail again I can do the same thing.

Micro USB + controller + $200 is the opposite of bargain in my old eyes.
