  • decent, but wouldn't an sd card be cheaper.

    • +3

SD = lag with lots of data over time.

you would want as much of the data, mostly apps, on phone memory.

kinda like having ssd vs external usb hdd

      • +1

Agreed, SD card should really be used for media only, e.g. videos, music and so on.

      • +1

+1 onboard memory should be considered space for apps only. When deciding on 16 or 32gb one should question how much space is enough for apps. Memory cards are then used for media

        • i had a 4age not t tho, got reared by a taxi :/

        • That is balls Balls. What a waste of a great car.

          I have had a few 4ag variants, ke30 4age, ke30 4agze. Currently have in build a ke10 4agte and ae82 FXGT 20V 4agte.

i had chicken karaage for lunch

        • i am 25ofage

        • That's friggin awesomeness. What did you have for desert?

        • A fine age.

  • Edit: removed - irrelevant.

  • Whats the best deal going at the moment for a locally stocked version (either 16 or 32gb)??

      pls delete

    • 32GB Optus Bloatware version from Mobile City with 24 month Samsung warranty.

    • I got a white 32gb SGS3 from eGlobal; australian stock for $570

However, I did request for a Aus stock

      • How do you know if it is Aus Stock?

        • The charger basically; cos mine has an Australian Charger; and also Optus Bloatware

      • Does that mean u get a tax invoice?

        • Don't think so, as it was shipped form Hong Kong;

only benefit of Aus stock is 24 month warranty vs the 12 month warranty of grey imports
However, it's not that confirmed yet

  • If the shipping was half that cost, I'd be inclined to buy. Not likely though.

  • Why the shipping cost too much?

    • I'm guessing Direct Import means from the warehouse overseas straight to your door.

I dislike the shipping cost but I guess I can understand why its elevated.

    • +1

Shipped from overseas and you will find that the shipping also absorbs soem of the costs too. Looks better having high shipping then higher product cost

    • +1

thats where they hide their profit

  • +2

shipping is high and painfully slow, despite they claim to use DHL. My personal record with SQ shipping is 3.5 weeks for a phone to arrive. see if nyone can beat that.

    • damn, tooooo looooong

  • I will await other vender to match the price

so how 16GB version price compares with 32GB? 16 is cheaper

  • +3

I waited 2 months for Galaxy S2 to be delivered, when it came it was in Chinese.

      laser

It's only took 1-2 weeks for the mobile phone order to arrive Australia (unless specified).
please send message to me for your order details, I will help you to check again.

    • And your gripe is? You should've known better than to order through SS.

I don't understand the logic behind this. This is for a 32gb blue imported version for ~$540. Unique mobiles is selling it for $559.

      • And with free shipping. Not bad for AU stock with 24 month factory Samsung warranty

    • did you check clearly, both Samsung Galaxy S3 16GB and 32GB are cheaper in http://www.ShoppingSquare.com.au compared with your link.

    Don't Pay: $949.00

Can someone find where the phone is being sold for that price?. Their support isn't very good, had to argue for a week or 2 to get a broken SSD replaced. Been waiting almost 2 months for a replacement.
