  • How long should one of these last?

    • +1

Up until the time it dies. I’ve had my 55” for about 6 years and still going strong

    This or tcl 75 845?

//I'll wait for the tcl based on OLED.

      TCL, this isn’t even MiniLED

Isn’t TCL the BigW brand of TV’s?

        • No

          • +1

            @Typical16-bitEnjoyer: Hmmm, from Ratings

“TCL is one of the more budget-friendly brands on the market, and their TVs offer great value for their cost”

            Budget friendly usually means cheap

            • +1

@BatmanAU: TCL manufactures most of the high end LCD panels for Samsung/Sony, they do typically offer the same specs for cheaper

    • Spec wise the C845. TCL panels blow me away but there seems to be a bug with their eARC implementation where it crackles every couple of minutes. Not sure if it’s present on the C845, but it definitely is on a bunch of their lower end TVs (C635, C725, etc.)

      • +1

Ive got the current model C745 and no problems with eArc so far. Had TV for 5 months. Amazing picture. Would love to have bought the mini LED C845 as its even brighter and more vivid with colour during the day.

        • What do you use eARC with?

    • C845 for sure.
Q70C not even in the same league.

These TVs are only 26mm thick if a narrow mount is required, I bought a smaller version for this reason, theirs nothing else on the market except the frame TVs and Crystal series.

  • Damn. I just bought the Bing Lee one. Will call them to cancel or price match.

  • This TV was cheaper in July, I got it for $1,580.00.

    • Happy with it?

      • Yeah, the old TV is maybe 9 or 10 years old and 46-or-so inches so compared to that it's a lot better.

  • should i replace my panasonic 65 plasma with this. want something bigger to mount on the wall, how is the picture quality.

    • +1

Better off with tcl mini led. This is edge lit LCD. TERRIBLE.

  • +1

Terrible TV for a 'QLED', Samsung have really dropped the quality and using marketing hype, it's not even backlit. Better off looking at the Sony X90L that's currently on sale if you can afford the extra $. Or at least the TCL.

  • Its basicallh on sale everywhere now. Bing Lee has beaten the price down to $1785 also including delivery. TGG is the same as JB (no surprise as its owned by JB). Videopro is $1775, but shipping not included.

Although Bing Lee seems the cheapest, if you have the ultimate gift cards left over from the 15% off deal, better go with JB. I went with TGG because CR is doing 5% cash back today. Yoi could potentially get it for $1778 using TGG price beat feature, but I didnt want to mess the cash back transactiok so decided to pay the extra $10

  • Not a bad price. I've moved to Hisense and never looked back now.

  • So tempted but I find their TV so bloated and slow cause of Samsung dex or whatever they use 😭😭😭
