Just bought one as well. I wonder if you can buy spare baskets for this as I'm only throwing away the old one because the basket has lost all its non stick coating. It would be good to have a couple of spare baskets on hand for when the non stick coating finally peels away.
For my old air fryer, a new generic basket was going to be $10 more expensive than this whole new complete unit.non stick coating is no big deal - just soak/scrub/oil any rusty bits and you're good to go
if you're basing your intended use of an air fryer on a 'non stick coating' - which I doubt it even is - AFAIK it's just paint - then I'd think you're doing it wrong
It's Teflon. The problem is that the steel underneath the Teflon is not stainless and is prone to rusting.

Just placed don't think there's much is a significant difference from the higher and brands as they're all operate on the same functions and results the only thing I'm concerned is build quality. This is same as ninja max in terms of use, less gimics and features, your just air frying food not making a relic.
Finding a lot of bargains at Target recently - even noticing that when I opt for C&C and not everything is in stock at one store they will courier items to my address free (no one pass needed). Do wonder if westfarmers is pushing hard in the name of competing against Amazon or if it’s something else…
Over the next 2 months, much of Target's general merchandise range will disappear to be replaced with Kmart's ANKO branded product. So there will be continued bargains until the process is complete.

I had a 3.5L Mistral and upgraded to a Wolstead 8L (got it for $99 at Kitchen Warehouse during Black Friday sales)…..huge difference in space inside and works very well. Quite even with it's temp so things come out more evenly cooked. Luckily it can still fit under the kitchen bench.

After years of saying I'd never get an air fryer, $25 was too good of a deal to pass up. Picked up mine earlier and just made some chips in it. It's a relatively small basket but the chips were done in 15 minutes and super crunchy. Thanks OP for posting the deal.
It's definitely very useful. I wasn't a believer after the past Oprah hype but picked one up when the hype died down. Then the old women around me had their stage where they managed to discover air fryers and were raving about it.
Saves electricity and effort and oil free.

I think maybe a good wash before first use and some non-stick spray as the basket’s coating seems to be of a poor quality from what people have said , then wash and repeat as required and you might build up a bit of a coating over time like seasoning a skillet .
Or just use alfoil if the crapy coating starts coming off and contaminating your food .
But for the real diy types out there , grab the drill/grinder or Dremel with a wire wheel or sanding disc ,
put the basket in a vice and lightly clean it up ,
scrub then season at temperature as many times as is necessary to build a coating .
Maybe a little effort , but sounds easier than trying to find a replacement only to deal with the same issues with the non-stick to basket coating again .

@Loopholio: I've left them on. They don't melt. Think it's just to hold the tray in place and stop it from scratching the pot.
