        I think it might depends on how they invoiced it. Mine got invoiced as $1 discount and $149 discount.

    I have a digital basket from JB. Would like to use the ultimate gift card for home but the rep said I can't online. Any chance I can show the basket to someone in store and they will honour it? Thanks

      Did you try redeeming it on the ultimate gc site? I was having trouble using my ultimate Kids gc until I realised you needed to redeem that card for a JB specific card and code - then was able to use online without issue.

      You could just buy JBHifi giftcards online using your ultimate giftcards and then pay for the digital basket? It is a 2 step process, but it saves you having to go down to JBHifi today.

      I've used the ultimate GC to purchase JB branded GC on JB website .. you kinda need to wait 20 mins but the JB branded GC lands in your inbox and you can use multiples for these special digital baskets (up to 10). Done 2 purchases this way… glad the basket expires at midnight so it gives you time to go covert the GC's

        I forgot to mention, I have a physical ultimate home GC, with only part of the balance left (previously used in store). Everyones responses are for digital ultimate GCs i think? I may have to try in store

          My ultimate card was a physical - was able to redeem for JB gc online. Not sure if it matters if you've part used it though.

    Price matched in store for JB (Brisbane, MacArthur central). Only after paying and walking away did I realise I was charged 149$ instead of 148$.

    If you're with Commonwealth Bank and have the offers… $10 cashback on $30 purchase at Ampol (buy the Ultimate Teens gift card). And then $10 cashback off $75 spend at JB HI FI. I got 2x that Ampol cashback through me and my wife's account. And then 1x $10 cashback from the JBHIFI cash back.

    Works out to be $148-10-10-10= $118 for 2x sets of the earbuds. Or $59 a set.

    Gift a set, sell a set, up to you :)

    so many models of Buds. Are these the best? Is the ANC good?

    I had Sony XM3, ANC was pretty good. XM4 was terrible.

    Got Bose QC gen 1, and they are the best ANC I've heard in wireless buds, but there are a ton of other things I hate about them.

    How do these compare?

    JB Hifi price matched it for me this morning. At first they said they couldn't due to no stock at the HN near me. But he said that they would price match it after he talked to his manager!

      probably jhifi head office bought all the HN stocks so they dont have to price match and then next year they can sell it at $100 each with the big tag half price 199 crossed now 100. lots of teenagers at the shops will say wow Mum look great deal get me one!

    JB price matched for me via online chat. As my local HN store was showing no stock, the JB rep said they had to add the shipping charge of $8 to my order. Decided to go ahead with it, and also had a $10 back on my commbank card so got 2 pairs for $146 C&c which is still pretty damm good. And its now out of stock so just scrapped through!     do you know that The Good Guys have crap systems?

    I noticed this glitch a couple times:

    1. place an order online
    2. once it's allocated to a store, call the store to cancel it
    3. they happily cancel and you get your money back
    4. but your order arrives anyway

    this happened to me a few times, I always call them and they send a courier to pick up the product from me, such a chore sending it back. next time I'm keeping it!
