0.95% surcharge on card & PayPal payments.

It is currently on sale at Digi Direct for $1214, however I was able to get Officeworks to price match bringing the total down to $1153.30, a total savings of $845.70 or 42%.

You could save more if you price match using discounted Officeworks cards.

      It wasn't OOS from Digi Direct when I purchased at OW, though the salesperson did check that. I guess it will depend on the store.

        I mainly used for programming, in general building project is faster with M2 Pro, would say around 25% improvement
        but more memory is definitely a big difference

            @zeppy: Haha to be fair it was stressful couple of days as I first saw the price a couple of nights ago and had to wait for Officeworks to reopen the next day so I could ask them to price beat. Then I had to wait for shipment. I didn't sleep much.

            I was refreshing every half hour hoping the price or stock levels didn't change until I could get in to the store.

        Back in the day working for Dick Smith (when it was a physical store) we were told that it's not a sting on the company to price match as the supplier (apple, dell, etc.) would reimburse us the difference anyway. So the store never lost money on a price match.

        Could have been told a lie, or maybe thats why they went out of business…

    Very cheap!! $1164 on Digidirect with coupon but you need to pay by Zip to avoid $11 payment handling fee

    That is an insane price - even without a price match - very rare to see the AOC price undercut - I just ordered one with the additional $50 off code. Been waiting to buy this for a while as my 2017 MBP bit the dust a few months ago.

      Be prepared for a long painful wait if you ordered from Digidirect. They are notorious for not fulfilling orders and take their sweet time in refunding. Speaking from experience (the latest is from their recent Black Friday sale).

    Don't order if you are not willing to potentially wait months. "Awaiting stock" for Digi Direct could mean they are waiting for the product to be produced in China and sent over. Also there support sucks.

    Looking at this post and I feel sorry for Digidirect. I know quite a few people even choose not buying the item from Digidirect after failed to PM wiht OW rather than just ordering from Digidirect.

      This is a good marketing campaign for Digidirect. They probably won't have enough stock for all the interested Ozbargainers anyway. But most of us now know their name.

        Thing is know their name in good or bad? As I said we all know they are notorious for taking orders then can't fulfill. So even we wanted to purchase and chose not to because we know they won't fulfill.

          Nah its a price error. It's back to 1899 now which means they wont ship any orders. Digidirect youve done it again.

          The reason we PM with OW isnt for the 5% off. It's just knowing its unreal price so only OW will sell if they are agree to price match. That's my whole point - digidirect made themselves even worst for doing this. It's NOT about driect traffic or marketing campain or whatever. Just a price error. lol
