              @ihfree: I got a 003 for my friend for about $350. Seiko discontinuing the SARB033/035 and replacing them with their bs Presage models, and ditching the SKXs (proper dive watches with rich history) and replacing them with the new Seiko 5s is inexcusable. These Prospex Alpinists are not too bad if you delete the cyclops and pretend the Prospex "X" isn't there.

            @maverickjohn: Not many people are.. definitely not a fan of the pill shaped one on turtles. The higher end Seikos have reasonably sized text on the wheel. The cyclops looks ok on the classic submariner so not too bad.

            It's actually useful though as you say, I'd order no date window than a tiny one like the PRX etc.

        I've got one of these I got back in late 2016 for about $400. It's nice but I don't like the strap (changed it to a nato strap). I don't wear it much but it is very pretty. I get much more wear out of the SARB033 which was about the same $400 mark.

              @MadInstro: Yep, that's the one. Mine is all brushed with the pressure clasp, there were no options for polished or milled back when I got mine, there was just the one bracelet. Only bad thing about it is the end links are not solid, but not a deal-breaker.
