New Mouse. No Idea. Need Advice on a Good One

OK got a new toy and need a new mouse. I currently have a Razer Death Ader V2 USB which is years old and I'm looking for an upgrade. Advice and recommendations about what to get wanted since I have no clue about mouse these days, should I get Wireless? Stick with USB?

Budget can be stretched for very good/decent mouse or better one than a Razer Death Ader V2.

      • Haha. Yes, they were just awful. If you never handled one, just imagine how terrible it looks like it would be, then square that.

I use a modern day Apple mouse. I like to keep my carpal tunnel doctor's children in private school.

    • Thanks. Looks like I'm leaning towards the Elitest. :)

Do not get the g pro wireless in the year of our Lord 2023

    • Do not recommend the g pro wireless in the year of our Lord 2023

  • I use a BenQ ZOWIE FK1 – I hate the expensive gaming mice that look 1337.

The only good mouse is a dead one.

Hey man, if youre playing a lot of fps games or games which require a lot of aiming, generally you'd want a lightweight mouse. The industry has been shifting towards lighter mice and you will see that 90% of pro players of most games using light weight mice. With your budget, I think the best option would be the Razer Death Adder V2 Pro for 85 dollars on eBay: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/363126310602?chn=ps&_ul=AU&mkevt…

ideally youd want to go for something like the or competes with the g pro x superlight 2 but thats rather expensive. id buy the pulsar x2v2. its great for medium to smaller sized hands if those are the hands you have. its 144 dollars on amazon au currently. if you want to see reviews of mice / learn more about whats on the market, boardzy is probably the best channel on youtube for it.

Just keep the mouse you have currently. It sounds perfect for your intended uses.

If youve got big hands, I have a razer basilisk x hyperspeed and I think its pretty good

    • I would say I have medium hands. Not small but not big :). Considering a Razer DeathAder V3 wired now. Good specs and it's only $20 more expensive than a Logitech 502 Hero.

dav3 wired is actually a good mouse. it regularly drops to 80-90 on amazon
