      Can walk into a JB store, ask for a manager, etc… can't walk into a store with Amazon, you'd have to drag this to a post office to send it back, then wait. I know which I prefer. JB is also an Australian business, and (as far as I know) pay their taxes ethically.

        Yeah I know which I would prefer. Just to drop it off at the post office than negotiating with the manager whether it is acceptable to return or not.

            @Gav: I recently had a kettle leak after a year and half from Amazon. Just sent a message to customer service, who promptly refunded. JB manager would have laughed me out of the store.

            JB is also an Australian business, and (as far as I know) pay their taxes ethically.

            May be from the money they made selling fake warranties

              @Pricebeat: Yeh same with me but a CPU cooler. Died about 1.5 years into owning it and out of warranty. 2 minute live chat and Amazon accepted the return with an instant refund. Can't complain about their returns.

              JB have almost made me feel guilty any time I've gone to return or price match.

  Good deal . Seems amazon , with its faults , is a safer warranty bet . I certainly have not had any problems with a few returns over years . Wanta survive B+M ?

  You can delay the grime build up by giving it a good water backwash once a week at least. Before you run a coffee shot. Run an empty shot if you see the jets shooting outwards. Run the backwash a few times (with increased pressure at the group head.)
  I think with brevilles they give you the rubber silicon to just pop into your basket

    What part of the machine would that clean?

    I have started to remove the shower screen every couple of weeks now & manually cleaning it. Amazing how much old coffee builds up in there.

    I put a link in the description on how to remove it.
