Decent amplifier, 4Ohm 150w continuous, I was looking for 300w continuous for my R3 Meta

    • An X3 Michi or a Magtech would give you that(and more specially the Magtech)

    • R3 Metas aren’t super easy to run but there’s definitely no need to spend this much powering them

The sound gotta be crystal clear for that amount of money.

I have a C390DD, bought second hand for less than $1000, happy with the sound, drives my dynaudio speakers with ease.
The NAD amps are good at bang for the bucks when sound quality is concerned, but they are not the best looking nor best quality gear. I had to replace the capacitors, they are cheap Chinese components which did fail after a while, far from audiophile grade ones. Having said that, it also means that if you are handy with solder you can even improve the sound by some simple upgrades.
