If you”d prefer the version with hair brush and low reach adapter instead of the soft brush it’s for $303 on Dyson eBay with code.

Which V8model is good for hard floor and carpet, looking to buy one can use for both.

The normal spinning head on hard floors has a habit of flinging around what you are trying to suck up, and the soft head which is meant for hard floors clogs too easily, in my opinion. Suction isn't impressive at all compared to a corded vac and the battery doesn't last long, so I wouldn't say it is good on any surface, aside from if you are just doing a quick clean.

      • Thank you, so you suggest better off with corded one any model or brand you think it's good

        • I actually just bought a house with tile floors throughout so I'm still researching, trying to find what works best on hard floors. I'm currently using my $50 Ozito 12l wet/dry vac as it outperforms the Dyson, but I'm hoping to find something better.

          • @jamesorion: I do have Hoover dog and cat one quite old still does the job and looking to upgrade now.

  • Anybody know how the egift card works for online orders and click and collect? When I went to collect the Dyson from the store the person at the click and collect first said that the gift card is not valid for online orders and then I asked another person and he said it was to be provided in my email and if not then come back to the store. Wtf, right?

    • Did it end up coming through your email?

      • Not yet. I'd be surprised if it does come through as the HN staff weren't across it.

From their chat “ Bonus 10% in Gift Cards when you spend $250 or more in one transaction on eligible products.

You receive this in your email after you collect your order”

          • @Hoju88: Thanks for the confirmation. I just now received the egift card in my email.
