what do people make with these? im curious

      • +3

Useful once in a while around the house. Sometimes for crafts etc

Personally, I make a horrible mess.

Thanks, was running low on refills sticks (usually get them from Bunnings).

What's the use case for these?

    • +5

      Glueing stuff I spose….

      • tiktok glue gun diy shenanigans

        • Yeah then life hack videos and craft videos

      • Thanks 🙂 I meant why would people need this sophisticated product than normal glue stick or tape. Is it too strong? Or people are using more for joining wood or metal?

        • +3

Melted plastic holds stronger than gluestick or tape.

Mostly just craft work where it's quite handy with it's quick setting and easy to use delivery. Outside of that mostly use other glues.

          • @Ezuku: Can these be used on shoes or stick to glue tubes?

            • +1

@carrawa: Don't think so, it's a pretty smooth surface. Stick to speciality shoe glues or if it's a cheapy just consider replacing.

    • 5 minutes craft

I use it for keeping electronics stuff like HDMI switch boxes and power plugs behind desks and tidy and raised so its not on the floor gathering dust.

Fun fact : isopropyl alcohol if sprayed onto the glue will help greatly loosen it, so if you hot glue something and need to unstick it, wait for the glue and surface to cool, spray some iso, wait a moment for it to seep in and do its magic and off it comes with far less force -Also useful for removing previous blobs from surfaces.

  • I remember seeing it in Coles special buys bay not too long ago- similar price when reduced to clear.

I can glue my cheeks together now

Post that on OF and the money will flood in.

      • Great idea

  • 10 watt is laughable for a glue gun, probably takes 10 minutes to warm up…warm glue gun is better description. Good luck with this $4 bargain…

    • More like a warm glue gun, they could have made it usb powered.

    • The bunning one was $3 :p

  • Can this be used as a GaN charger?

  • Based on availability, if we cannot find your click and collect item(s) in-store, our team will home deliver them for FREE

    Much better than Kmart
