There's also a set of 7 nut drivers for $40.

    • -1

      nut "drivers"

      • +1
        • I think that despite the photo that may be a single nut driver being sold.

Product code brings up a single 8mm nut driver when searching for it.

It says "number of pieces 7", but just below that "Included Components ‎1 x Wera 05029415001 Hexagon Nut Driver, 8 mm Tip, 125 mm Blade "

It's amazon, so could roll the dice and probably win a refund at worst

            @OZKap: Definitely a set of 7.
Source: I have bought this from Amazon and comes up in my past purchases with the price I paid previously.

$48.82 apparently I paid for the set

          • +1

@OZKap: I know it's Wera, but even $40 for one standard nut driver is a bit insane for an Amazon listed "deal".. 😅

But yeah, as you and Spending2Much said, description notes as "number of pieces: 7".

Worst case just send it back if only a single piece arrives and Amazon customer support would offer a $5 or more credit for the hassle.

@WasBargain: I think I'm too used to aliexpress trickery at this point.

              • @OZKap: Haha, trueee. Dad's got TEMU popups on FB and and saw something he wanted me to buy but I wouldn't dare. I'd rather sift through the AliExpress trickery than try buy from another new scam source.. 😅

Also, I didn't mention properly in previous reply but it's an "Amazon Prime Exclusive Deal".

Geez, I paid $48.82 for them and thought that was a good price

Thanks op, grabbed a set, don't forget 5% cash back @ cash rewards for Home improvement category.

These appear to be the Eneloops of the screwdriver world, often posted, but what's so good about them?

    • +15

Zey are made in Germany where ve dont tolerate any nonsense

      • +1

These ones are made in Czech Republic :D

I've only used this style a few times, but the laser etched tips make them very grippy on screws. I used them to take out some old slotted screws and the cursing was much reduced when compared to using my set of aldi screwdrivers

      • yeah they are so much easier to latch on to otherwise problematic screws

    • +3

Best screwdrivers on the market, love them. Have full sets of general and VDE

  • +1

Good luck getting that PZ2 into the holder…

    • I've got the same screwdrivers and same holder and they go in okay? What am I missing?

    • +2

Lol typo 1200mm for the extra long reach.

  • Got a set of these a couple of years ago and still have never needed pozi

    • +1

Aldi has in the past sold some pretty decent sets of chipboard screws with pozidriv heads, $10 for 1000, that's about all I use them for. And even those, most of the time I'm using an impact driver

    • +3

      Ikea uses pozi

    • +3

Pozi is quite common and many people mistake pozi for PH, damaging the screw head

    • I had to look into Pozi a few weeks ago for another deal.

It's basically the norm in Europe instead of PH. Also some American things also use it. Hard to find a use for it with more domestic products though.

  • Arguably better value than the $60 set of 12 that I ended up buying from TotalTools, nice find

  • Do these include one that fit the tiny screws found on the back on every damn kids toy in my house?

    • Most likely PH1, so yes

      • Could even be PH0 though. I'm thinking PH0 on those tiny RC cars and controllers and such.

  • Great set. Copped one a while back. Very happy with it. Now just waiting for their spanners to go on sale.

  • Does anyone know why the handle colours are all different to other variants?

For example this set was popular few months back and has yellow/red handles

    • +13

      Green - general purpose
Yellow - thru metal tang (heavy duty)
Red + yellow - VDE (voltage protection for electricians)
Light blue + red - VDE with stainless steel

  • Limited time deal, but still 821 units in stock hehe

  • anything like this but magnetic?

    • Very easy to DIY magnetize them.

    • Bit magnetizer/demagnetizer, few bucks on eBay…

  • Fyi i got this deal a month ago and they sent a childs toy.

    • Same actually. Genuine pain in the butt to get it fixed up. Certainly didn't get any offers to keep the mistake.

I got a whole bunch of Tonies characters for the Toniebox (which I had never heard of). Worth a lot more than the screwdrivers were, but completely useless to me.

  • thanks OP. grabbed one set.

  • Back in stock for the next 46mins for $31.60

  • I don’t know why this deal is allowed up - I bought and received a child’s toy.

No doubt this is the same shake down making the seller a few k each time.

    • Amazon sent you a kids toy? Or you think Were are kids toys quality?

      More information needed…..

      • It was a plastic wand.
