      There is no 16gb model for the 5th gen touch, only 32 and 64…

    Unless like me you are upgrading to an iPhone for and want a cheap 4th gen touch for your accessories, like my car fm transmitter. Little bit cheaper and I'll bite.

      Thanks for your spelling. You need to approve your spelling so you can imput text better on the 'net.

      The iPod nano is a totally different device - check the screen sizes for starters! 2.5", and more importantly doesn't do apps.

    The 8Gb is obsolete being replaced by the 16Gb model. With the 5G version being a huge improvement over the 4G, I will not be surprised that the 16Gb 4G eventually drops in price to about $180-190, and I would rather pay the extra $20-30 extra for double the storage. If you have more money to spend, the 5G model is the way to go.

    K-mart and even the Good Guys are selling the 16GB for $199. I picked up a 16GB for $190 at JB HiFI.

    Is $31-40 worth it for double the memory?

      it comes with a a cable which can transfer data and charge the iPod.

      Cable - yes

      Charger - no

      Unless it's a tiny one…. The case it comes in is about twice the size of the iPod.
