Looking that this is enterprise server rack hardware. Explains the cost. Any thing server related costs.
Ubiquiti isn’t exactly enterprise-grade.
It's enterprising-home-grade
LOL.
Some think it is..
SMB perhaps.. and SOHO i guess.
oops, sorry - updated with the price or $653

There's just 1 left at Amazon au prime
If I don’t need wireless, are these better than my Asus AX89X?
This is just a switch, so you still need a router.
If you're asking that question you don't need this.
what's the internal speed, 10G?
Click on "more information", and it tells you. 88G.
10Gb is old now…
Not talking about individual port speeds.
Switches are usually on a non-blocking backplane so you don't really need to worry about overall switching speed.

, $603 from their eBay store or $600 from Digilife eBay store.I really don't understand why people pay this much for networking gear. I understand that the Ubiquiti stuff is easy to configure but with a bit of googling it's not that hard to setup a cheap second-hand Cisco. I paid $37 for my 24 port gigabit switch with PoE.
Because people buy new equipment instead of used ones. Feature sets, power consumption, etc. especially so on UniFi stuff.
Used enterprise gears are dirt cheap because they've already been paid for over its lifespan. Sometimes you're actually doing sellers a favour as they probably need to pay to get those things recycled.
Also you can compare configuration experience between Mikrotik and Cisco, not UniFi and Cisco. Not all powerusers hold CCNA. I can tell you that because I did all and I settled on UniFi solutions eventually.
You can probably find second hand ones on Facebook as well. It's really a personal choice for if you want new or used
Recommendations/ link… id love a 24 port poe… as long as it doesn't stuck down the juice, or cause to much heat, as it's in a cupboard with my gen 8 microserver….would allow me to hook my camera directly to the network and use google to view them.
I'd be tempted if they were 2.5gb ports.
And the price is……..
