    Also, the 2-year VPN subscription is currently US$80.73. Does this mean the out-of-pocket cost will be 2%*$80.73 ~ US$2?

      for that reason, you can just use UrbanVPN extension in FireFox, don't need to spend on Nord

    Bought this from last deal in December and still disputing with CW for Cashback. Still haven’t heard back from them and the 30 day trial is near ending to cancel and get money back. Just a heads up for anyone looking at getting this deal.

      Got this same deal almost 6 months ago, cashback tracked straight away and was avaliable for cash out a couple months later. No issues whatsoever.

    FYI, total cost is about AU$140 and the cashback amount is about AU$118. That would be for the standard two year plan.

          Yes, I signed up to NordVPN when shopback had this at 98% back in November, and used Virgin islands and wasn't charged any tax.

        I just did the standard 2 years plan (got 3 months extra on top of two years). Paid AUD$126.50 and cashback tracked for AUD$114.46

          $126.50 × 98% = $123.97.
          Did you select Virgin islands for $0 tax costs?

            @Xcwizit: NordVPN charges in AUD using their own USD to AUD conversion rates whereas CR uses the USD value for calculating the 98%.
            So the cashback ends up being less than 98%.
            For Example I got charged AUD126.50 on my credit card.
            Cost of the 2 year plan in USD is 80.73(at current FX rates it should've converted to around AUD120)
            SO, what is will get back is 98% of 80.73 (≈ AUD 118) not of 126.50.

    Beware of their policy of storing your payment information and not being able to delete it. Below is the reply I got back from them. Very dodgy imo.

    In order to remove your debit card information we will need to delete your account as we are unable to delete only a portion of data that is associated with your account, such as payments.

    As we are a security-oriented company we do not take account change or deletion requests lightly, hence we request payment information to confirm ownership of the account, as we would not want anyone but the rightful owner making such changes.

    Without the requested information we are unable to proceed with the changes.

      Not sure why this should be a downvote though? You had the option of paying with PayPal or even crypto if you wanted to. I'd personally try and use PayPal on these sorts of things where possible.

    Just FYI for anyone interested, I applied for this deal on 19/11/2023 from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/813002 - was tracked a couple of hours after my purchase that day and have just had my cashback approved today.

    If the cash back was tracked does it mean you will definitely get the cashback? Provided you don't cancel the purchase of course.
