Not meant for hot liquids though, just to keep things cold.

      No! Just candy, Ned. $90.

I usually love Thermos branded bottles but I've had a terrible time with this bottle. The bottle leaked and the plastic grip on the exterior became loose within a few months and slid up and down annoyingly. Have a few different Thermos bottles and this one performed terribly.

      Same

    • Do you use it with boiling/hot water? The description only says for cold

      • +2

I only used it for cold water and ice tea.

      • Cold water only
Clean with soap and lurk warm water

    • Yep my rubber grip came loose within a few weeks too. Otherwise no issues.

    Heard Stanley is fireproof.

I'm a fan of this for cold beverages. Usually I use it for gatorade, the mouth piece is great if you want the liquid to avoid touching your teeth.

Terrible for hot liquids though, you probably wouldn't want hot liquids going straight down your throat

I agree on your first point. Though my wife would disagree on your last point! 😉

      • Username checks out.

  • Probably don't want to wash in hot dishwasher perhaps

  • Does it taste like metal?

  • Since the zhirojushi deal is quite popular. I found this instead…

My logic doesn't quite catch up. It's almost half the price tho.

  • Bought the same one from officeworks clearance last month for $9 🤷🏽‍♀️

  • Doesn't hold cold stuff quite as long but ok if you're drinking within 3 or 4 hours. The lids aren't as durable as a lot of the others……ive had 2 cracked when dropped while a few others ive had only got big scratches and dents. I've found the rubber/silicone piece on lid got mouldy whereas none of my zojirushis have had that problem.

Very similar, possibly identical item on Aliexpress for $15

You said the same thing about the zojirushi…….

  • These are rubbish

Not great, have gone through two, not about to buy a third.
Rubber grip becomes loose the lid ain't great quality either.

  • I love cold water. Went through so many Thermos branded bottles and they never could keep my water cold all day - bit the bullet bought a yeti and have never looked back. The mouthpiece and cap are so easy to clean and do not have any hard to reach nooks and crevices that can accumulate gunk.

    With every dollar spent

    • Which yeti did you get that keeps it cold all day?
Also is that in an air-conditioned office environment or outdoors in the sun?

Been looking for a decent bottle that keeps water cold outside for at least 1/2 a day
