  • Good specs for the price if you don't mind using a 60% sRGB display.

  • Noob question: how many external monitors can this laptop be connected to out of the box?

    • +2

At least one using the HDMI port + one using USB-C Display port

If you have a thunderbolt docking station, i am pretty sure it would go up to 3-4

  • Excludes "QLD South East" ???

    • Probably related to shipping delays/stock due to the flooding/storms.

      • The main HWY to Brissy all good though.

        • That's true, could be issues with their warehouse or something. I know when I bought a koala mattress just after the major floods here 2 years ago, they were delays 6 weeks because their warehouse was flooded and couldn't allocate more stock for SEQ from Sydney, needed to wait for more from their factory.

The joys of Just In Time warehousing…

@richadam: Yep, get that. I was right in the middle of that in NNSW in Billinudgel. Had 3 flood events

in last 5 years, and obvously moved on from there.

Good spces but only if you are ok with the fan noise. The fan is pretty much either off or full-on, and sadly the fan kicks in only a few minutes after turning on the laptop without running any apps. It also has a grinding sound when you tilt or just move a bit (seems the fan is pretty loose).

I thought it was just me then found it's a known issue: https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/latitude/lat…

I got it from work and then ended up giving it back to IT as I even prefer using my own old horse T480S when travelling.

      fan noise

I have a 7320 Core i7 (Gen 11) and yep the random fan roar is a PITA.

However, Mrs w has a 5440 Core i5 (Gen 13) and the fan management is excellent.

      • i have a microsoft think pad 4 with gen 11, don’t think i’ve ever heard the fan come if it has.

        • Microsoft Surface or Lenovo ThinkPad?

I have a 5330 and the touchpad sensitivity is terrible and sporadic.
I wonder if other people will have the same issue.

Most trackpads are beyond useless … grab a small wireless/corded mouse.

    • Does your 5330’s fan run all the time and noisy? Which cup in it? I5 ori7? Thanks

      • Same as one posted here except with 360 flip hinge and bigger battery . Fan seems normal
