This only works for a very specific set of items, not a general coupon that you can use.

This link directs to eligible item list of 38,729 items , however I have managed to use it on items not in this link also.

It works on majority of items sold by eBay as long as your cart is above $80 and accessing it via OP’s links

I tried buying 5 different items and none of them were eligible.
Haven't had issues with using other general coupon codes….maybe I was just really unlucky

There’s a cookies in OP’s link that enables the coupon codes to be used
If you access it via the general ebay.com.au it won’t work
I have personally tested the code via OP’s link and searched for a Lego set and the discount code works

Wasn't able to get the code to work at first using my computer. However, it somehow worked when I used my phone. If anyone is having issues getting it to work, try using a different browser or different device.
