Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam $99 + Shipping ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi / The Good Guys / (Bing Lee: Sold Out)

140

JB catalogue special but research shows same discount price at most major electrical retailers like Bing Lee (sold out) and TGG so buy from whichever most convenient.

JB link included but just go search at retailer of your choice.

Meant to be 149 (JB say 199) at full price.

This is meant to be the sweet spot for a quality webcam in Logi's lineup.

Updates: looks like cheaper from a couple of more specialised retailers like Centrecom and Studentbean. Use links / search as suggested by others below.

Opinions vary wildly… Unfortunately lots of paid reviews out there and depending on the lighting situation. Best bet in my exp is to just get the best in your price bracket. The improvements aren't that much more helpful the higher end you go

This has decent stereo mics and its been perfectly fine. Had no issues or complaints. Ditched the headset and earbuds for long hours of boring meetings.

I like this C922 for compatibility with anything and everything. Also good quality audio and video. Nothing Earth shattering just always works.

    Thanks OP.

Been looking at (the Logitech) webcams.
From your post I noticed the Brio 505 (detachable cable vs 500 model) was only ~$74 via Amazon UK

According to the internet, it's much of a muchness in quality but the Brio was cheaper and had better specs on paper.

    • The real deal is in the comments, thank you!

    • Brio 505 no longer available @ $74

    • Hi I couldn't find any info on the detachable cable. Does that mean that with the Brio 505 I can replace the USB C cable if I want? I'm thinking for a shorter or longer cable.

      • 505 sold out, there must have not been many. Even so the Brio 500 at 119 feels like a comparable option compared to c922. https://amzn.asia/d/h3g77u5

        • There were only half dozen remaining. I probably should have mentioned this.

      • Yea. Ok. No idea where I got detachable cable from. Now I've had a bit more time it looks like the 505 is the business model allowing ITC to push firmware etc

        • All good! At least there's no FOMO in getting the 500. Thanks!

      • This is where I got it from

Not worth it any more, especially at this price level.
