  • Reading the terms..

    ""How is the Warranty Work?""

Yeah great Engerish Shopping Square, sounds heaps reliable.

    • I've only ever bought from their eBay store (Apus) and they've been fine. Never needed warranty support though. I can't vouch for the company or the product but thought it might be interesting to some.

      • because apus bound by ebay and paypal buyer protection

Isn't a SixAxis controller a Sony branded controller? Or are they trying to get around it by calling it SixaxisTM to make it look like it's the real thing?

  • Controller - $9.95
    Shipping - $9.99

    Go figure.

    • I'm pretty sure they jack up the shipping rather than the item price to avoid tax.

A word of warning: Sony periodically blacklists imitation controllers in PS3 firmware updates, it's happened to me with cheapy controllers I've brought off eBay before.

True, some third-party controllers stopped working after the 3.50 update in 2010. Not sure of any other occasions? That's the risk you take with a $10 controller I guess.

    • That's gonna make people resent Sony… but that's Sony's problem. I'm kind of suprised since HDD's are swappable.

      • Well if some people were restricted to the original 20GB (60/40GB in Aus?) then it would be an absolute waste of money when most games take 5GB HDD space. It would be a controversy and a half.

Might be good for Android device.

These imitation controllers are horrible. Ok for OS navigation or video playback. For gaming you will end up throwing it at the tv in anger

    • ^^ This.
I hate myself for going cheap and buying a 'Generic Brand' controller.
Battery life was maybe 25-30% of the original
Turns itself off within a few minutes of not being used
Didn't seem to be as responsive
That was just my experience with the one i bought anyway

    • Would these work on PC with directinput or will it need glovepie too?

  • buy a dozen you will need them or buy the original for the same price.

  • Worth a note here : the ones I bought from dealextreme has been working really well. No issues with battery life. So some generics may be worth it.
