    party for ants?

Why the downvote? It is a tiny speaker indeed 😆

It is a tiny speaker indeed

It's what you do with it that counts…

        • +1

          jv you've done it again!

    • +1

Yep, a budget speaker with a mic for karaoke. I imagine it would be fun for high schoolers without the money for a giant Sony or JBL speaker. Comments here either sound sad they don’t get invited to parties or Patrick Bateman vibes about needing something more Hi-Fi for listening to Huey Lewis.

    Lol 15W power rating haha
And Input: 5V 500mA which is 2.5W charging

    • +4

      power rating haha

      15W Anko 🤣

      • 1w can be pretty loud

        • 15W is more than twice as loud…

      • +1

        Claims to store 1.8A @ 3.7V that equals 6.66Wh
Makes some magic, provides 3h @ 15 W ea so has 45Wh output.

        • "provides 3h @ 15 W "

as stated in the info the 3h estimate is at 50% volume level. and no 50% volume level will not be 7.5W. power requirement relative to volume increase is exponential.
so I would expect much much less than 7.5W required at 50% volume. the estimate is accurate imo but still the spec disappointing 5 hours to charge and 3 hours of playtime. 😂

    • I wonder if that 15W output is PMPO or RMS. If it's PMPO it wouldn't sound the best.

      Yeah pretty lame party.

When your top spec is detailed description of ABS plastic…

Just a quick heads up that the sound from this is trash

    • David Guetta was rumoured to use these at his latest concert.

I bought a similar sized one from Kmart, same size but may have been previous model. Actually sounds great and has good bass

A couple of these are enough to annoy my neighbours. Habibi songs all night.

  • Why do you need a Bluetooth RGB Party Speaker with a tripod? I mean, back in the day, all you needed was a mate with a boombox. Now it's like you're setting up a disco in your living room.

Also what's with the RGB? I just want tunes, not a light show. And a tripod? Are we filming a music video or having a party? It's a speaker, not a movie set. People and their fancy gadgets.

    • +1

Some old boomboxes are incredible quality, with an aux connector you got a good party right there.

      • +1

Yeah. These old boomboxes knew what they were doing. None of this Bluetooth and RGB nonsense, just stick a cassette in, press play, and let the tunes flow.

Aux connector? That's high-tech back in the day. A good party was about the music, not whether your speaker looks like a UFO about to take off. Keep it simple, that's what I say.

        • +1

Right, but to actually use a vintage boombox today you'll want to connect a modern device to it.

  • Playback time at 50% volume: 3 hours

    Short party

    • Bold of you to assume that people are going to turn up.

      • Everyone who I invite turns up which is exactly zero people.

    • Yeah crazy. My smartphone has a bigger battery than this has. Seriously this speaker only has a 1800mAh battery. At full volume it will probably last little over an hour. Very short party.

It must be a 15W PMPO speaker. As there's no way if it was RMS that it would even last 3 hours at 50% volume with that power draw and such a tiny battery. It has to be PMPO which is the worst.

  • Thanks OP bought -3

  • Good for the price, maybe good for only small studio when U club

    • Be in mind this only has a tiny 1800mAh battery so it doesn't last long before going flat. There's no way this is designed for any thing serious.

  • I expect this is trash…The tripod probably trash too but maybe useful for the Bose S1 Pro? Manual doesn't look good though - basically saying don't extend the tripod height or it will fall over often… lol!

    • Then the manual is basically saying that the tripod is a piece of crap bad design which is prone to often failure. A good tripod should not fall over if the height is extended. It goes to show this whole product is probably a piece of crap.

    • "The tripod probably trash too but maybe useful for the Bose S1 Pro?"

no don't do it. the last thing you want is to put your expensive Bose on top of this tripod where it will be top heavy. a gust of wind might be enough to have you Bose crashing to the ground.

  • Seems to be out of stock online.

    • Showing as in stock online here.

  • should i buy this just to use the stand

    • The stand is probably trash. Not worth it.

      • I thought it was a troll comment. $39 for the stand seems expensive. I mean if they were being serious I would pickup the speaker from them for free instead of them junking it.
