    • Hey there cisco - I would recommend the Stargazer for you!

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers

  • Hello, First time trying out your coffee and coffee is a new found liking. I usually have it black and use a mokapot.

    1. Which ones would you suggest for my requirements?
    2. Also, what grind is recommended for a bialetti mokapot?
    • Hey there gunditherandi, I recommend starting with the Enterprise Blend.
We have a Stovetop Grind that would suit that you can choose when placing your order.

      I hope that helps.
      Cheers

  • Just bought a vittoria 1kg beans last week, tasted like piss.

    • I see that stuff on special at the supermarket, or anything similar, and physically shudders down my spine as i walk past, remembering the last time i tried it.
I learnt my lesson years ago but we all go down that path at some point :D

  • Sumatra vs pegasus

Espresso, usually with cold milk. Ive been using sumatra and its good, just wondering if pegsus would be better

    • Hey BargainBogan99 - similar roast level - maybe a little more fruitiness in the Sumatra and a little more choc in the Pegasus with that brew.
If you like the Sumatra, i have no doubt you will enjoy the subtle differences of Pegasus.

      I hope that helps.
      Cheers

I do sometimes wonder if Airjo vs LimeBlue are like The Original Croc Jumping Tours vs Spectacular Croc Jumping Tours.

P.S. Enterprise is great. Works well as espresso and with Almond milk.

    • Thanks so much Skramit - great to hear the hear the feedback on Enterprise.
Croc jumping…..I'm not too sure lol….

      Cheers

  • Cool, I want to start using my Italian stovetop Bialetti after a 10year break. What coffee & type of grind would you recommend for espressos?

    • Hey there Ss-ss - I recommend the Enterprise Blend and you would order the "Stovetop Grind" option when you are ordering.

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Great i will order exactly that..thxs

        • Great stuff Ss-ss. Pleae let us know how it goes for you.

  • When is the best time to use the coffee beans after being freshly roasted ? Would be a week or a few weeks ?

    • +1

I usually have my coffee in the morning.

    • Hey there sarah965. Great question.
We would recommend from the first few days of roast and then up to around 2 weeks after roast the beans are at their peak quality. From there, if stored well, the magic will slowly degrade.

      I hope that helps.
      Cheers

Aldi's $12 1kg bag dark roast is unbeatable in value and decent taste too

    • There is an ALDI opening up next door to us in a month. Can't wait but i'm going to come back to this comment :)

    • I don't like they are roasted almost 3 months before going on the shelf. I also noticed at Aldi, they released a Deluxe beans but are also roasted 2 or 3 months before going on the shelf.

Airjo is great value and very fresh

  • Hey Dan
Iv'e been having Vittoria bar oro from a long time. I only have long black while the Mrs prefers milk based coffees. What do you recommend? (long black obviously)
    Machine:- Breville Barista Express
    Jura:- S8

    • Hey there niknairn - sorry for the late reply - I would go for the Enterprise and see how that sits with you.
It's a great blend for both black and milk coffees.

      I hope that helps

      Cheers

  • I just bought a bag, I trust only once. Let's see how you go.

    • +1

A little unfair if you've bought a style which is wrong for you. I'm an advocate for a tasting pack like I've linked to below so people like yourself don't give up on a roaster after the first try - completely within their right Airjo don't seem to agree.

    • Thanks so much imaguy23 - we are feeling confident here you chose the best one!

      Cheers

  • I've been making cold brews with my delter cold drip and would love to try your coffee. First time buyer though, what would you recommend for a nice chocolatey, smooth cold brew?

    • Hey there Slamashizz!! - thanks so much for trying AIRJO - I would go the Pegasus or the Sumatra to start with.

      I hope that helps
      Cheers
      Dan

  • I have just started making cold brews at home, what do you recommend?

    • +1

Hey there obium - I would recommend the lighter ones like Pegasus or Sumatra for you to try.

      I hope that helps!
      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks Dan, bought a bag of Sumatra :)

        • Great stuff obium - thank you!

Does Dan win the award for dedication to replies on his own thread?
    Well done sir!

    • Oooh - here's another one lol :)
      Thanks birnie !!

  • Ordered another kg of Sumatra. I've tried Pegasus, Saratoga, and Enterprise. Sumatra is my fav.

    • Thanks so much BrisneyLand for your order and your feedback. Really appreciate it.

  • Hey there, would you be able to help with a recommendation. I usually have oat milk fw/latte or iced oat latte and occasional long black, thanks!

    • Hey there conor2806 - I would recommend the Enterprise Blend for you.
The Enterprise is a great option for both black and milk brews,

      I hope that helps.
      Cheers

  • First time jumping in.

For a family, we have espresso with milk drinkers and black pour-over drinkers.

Is there a one size fits all?

    • Hey there CatseyeHardcast!! - Your bets bet here is definitely the Enterprise Blend.
      This will suit you perfectly.

      I hope that helps
      Cheers
      Dan

  • I'm actually running out of coffee this time so this is perfect. Will give this one a go before buying more Aldi coffee :P

I'm a coffee newb with a Barista Express machine and went with the Enterprise blend which was recommended by the rep for milk coffees in this thread (I am a flat white enjoyer)

    Thanks.

    • Thanks so much for giving it a go drasticmeasures1337 - super keen to hear your feedback.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • I love Thunderchild and have tried Stargazer, what else should I try?

    • +1

hey thebiggestfudge - the Thunderchild and Stargazer are at the darker end of our range - from there you are heading back into the medium roast options.
If that's what you might want to try, I would recommend the Saratoga or Enterprise Blends.

I hope that helps and thanks for the feedback. Great to hear you are enjoying the Thunderchild!

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Hi Dan,

I bought my sister this iced coffee maker (it just pours hot water over the coffee in a plastic filter basket which drips into the cup and you add ice), I gave her some of my enterprise blend beans that I blended for her (where setting 15 is middle so I put it on 11 which I think is medium-fine?) and she loved them, said she wants exactly that

Is there a pre ground option for the enterprise blend for her that I should specifically buy? She doesn't have a grinder. Would it be the Filter grind?
