Xiaomi Mi Portable Air Pump 1S US$21.21 (~A$32.51) Shipped @ Factory Direct Store AliExpress

850

A new record low price on the previously popular Xiaomi Air Pump 1S. This is essentially a small battery powered air compressors designed for pumping up smaller tyres like those found on bike, e-scooters and mobility scooters. It can be used to top up car tyres, but it will take longer due to the flow rate/battery.

It has a flow rate of 15L/pm, goes up to 150PSI, can be set to PSI or BAR, has USB-C charging and an inbuilt light.

Since this is an air compressor it's not suitable for filling up air mattresses, paddleboards, beach balls etc unless you use a special adapter (i.e. this), however it won't be perfect.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate and GST inclusive. 96 left instock at this price at time of sharing.

Great price on a great device.

Agree. Love mine. Use it on car no worries.

  • Nifty things

I've got a high volume pump I was on my paddleboard that I need to get to 15PSI but could you get majority of the air in there via manual pump and then finish the hard part with the compressor+adapter combo? While that's working then I could get other stuff ready.

  • Sorry, this item's currently unavailable in your location.

What am I doing wrong? or is this OOS?

    • I struggled to checkout at first, but managed the second time.

I only logged out and in again.

  • Got it for $33.92- need it to pump up a bike

  • Is it worth spending the extra $ and getting the 2nd gen?

    • Flow rate is 25% higher in the 2nd gen, however it's not instock for this promotional price.

      • +4

2nd gen has a "new love mode" with "inflatable quick contact interface". might be worth the extra money then …

        • +4

          Love mode

          So it vibrates

        • So 2nd gen is suitable for inflatables ?

  • +1

    Incredible price!

    • Gen2 is out and better

      • +1

That’s still double the price, and I’m not sure it’s twice as good. I say that as an owner of the 2 and 1S as a spare.

        • 25% faster for 25% more cost than the 2 which was on sale earlier this month.

      • It also costs better :)

  • Good price but I absolutely hate mine for pumping up motorcycle/car tyres. I'd assume these would be great for anything lesser though.

    • +1

I like it for car tyres personally. Even used it at a track day to monitor pressures and adjust accordingly. We used it for three cars actually because old mates expensive milwaukee one shat itself.

Tyre pressures can change 15psi or so when hot on a track.

      • +1

How long would you wait to pump 15psi? Like 4+ minutes a tyre? 😅

Also, why don't you have real-time pressure/temp monitoring for tyres if you'te doing a trackday? 😅 My daily even has this..

        • I don’t think it’s 4 minutes but it could be around that I guess, I don’t stand there watching it, usually I just do something else for the minute or two.

And yes I do have TPMS but a lot of cars don’t. Monitoring it is great, but if you bleed off 15psi you still need to replace that before you get back on the road. And you won’t know what they’re at after siting for 15-30 minutes because the car says “drive to check pressures”

          • @Mungulz: Woah wtf. Mine doesn't need to be in motion to be reading pressure or temps.. 😅 Why would you need to get it rolling to only need to stop again and fill it? Holyyy. That would tick me off.

I'm probably only being soo critical because I managed to pick up a cheap, portable air compressor the other day and can finally leave this in the toolbox.. 😅

Need one for escooter, I might manually pump up for more years before my back warns me to buy one

    • It's perfect for the escooter. Stick it in one of those little bags you can attach to the stem or handlebars just in case.

    • I had the non-S version of this and found it to be poor. The battery died after about 4 years of very occasional use. It could not inflated presta valves either. Maybe I had a dud but I now have a Makita inflator and have no frustrating issues.

  • +1

Honestly one of my best purchases from Aliexpress. Use it for bikes, scooter, and even on the brother in-laws car once in an emergency. I think mine is even the older version of this!

  • lots of 1 star reviews claiming the thing is counterfeit

    • +2

Those reviews are hilarious because they clearly show the Mijia logo and claim it's fake because it's not the Xiaomi "Mi" logo when that's the old branding Xiaomi used to use. While the other reason is because the text is in Chinese. No shit sherlock it's the Chinese version of the Air Pump sold by Xiaomi…… a Chinese company.

  • Can anyone comment on how loud these are? I'm after something for inflating mountain and road bike tyres

    • +5

If I had to guess, probably as loud as a food court with lots of people. 75-80db?

  • Just bought mine a week back from the last deal. Should have waited lol

  • When I click the link I get a 'Page Not Found' Error. OOS maybe?

    • +1

Either you have a VPN, something masking your location or Starlink. AliExpress has regional pricing.

If it was OOS it would say.

      • Thanks @Clear, I indeed had VPN on (for work). I tried with my phone which did show it, but now I get the error at check out: 'Sorry, some items are not available. Please edit your order'.

  • Showing as $43 for me?

  • I've got the older version of this and it's a great device. So many times the servos dont have working pumps and this is a great device to keep in the car for those situations.

  • Has anyone ordered this and received it yet?

Mine says it has failed to clear import customs. What do I do?

    • +1

You wait and it will be delivered. Completely normal message and it will clear customs in no time.

      • thanks, I just noticed that there is another tracking page and it says arrived at SYD this morning.

  • Received. Anyone got english instructions for it tho. It's pretty self-explanatory but I thought I'd just check
