160

Ducked out to Coles to redeem the Flybuys Curtis Stone redemption and saw the Lebara $24.90 pack on sale for $6.

Also the $29.90 pack for $9 but that's not Ozb-approved value.

Enjoy

The $14.90 sim that goes down to ~$4 is great for self referrals or as a temp sim in between boost 12 month sims

      Delorean needed though

    • Self referrals?

      • Lots of food apps used to do referral bonuses or new user bonuses. Was great over covid - not sure what it's like now as haven't done it in a while.

        GYG - free burrito
        Liven - $20
And then there was a few smaller food delivery companies that it worked on.

Any that don't make sure credit cards are unique for each account, or do device fingerprints. The big names - uber, doordash didn't work because of this.

        • Ohh you're talking about general slutting and getting freebies as a new customer (some of which don't require any referral) - right.

I thought you were talking about referrals to Lebara as a telco

I had the worst time on Monday with Lebara. I picked up a Lebara esim with 8GB for $7 in late December. I received an email with a QR code and a manual code. When I ported my number to Lebara on Monday from Boost, I went to the original email and the QR code had broken and had been replaced with a broken image icon in the email. As my number was ported out I couldn't make calls at this point. Something had gone wrong on their back end and it had broken the QR codes for the esims in emails they had sent. I ended up on their support chat which took an hour to get onto someone. They issued a new esim that was also broken. Ended up having to purchase a physical Sim for $2 and stand in a phone booth while it was raining heavily and having them move my number from their broken esim to the physical Sim. Total waste of 3-4 hours of time with my phone number held prisoner. Coverage is about as meh as you'd expect. It defaults to wifi calls at every opportunity it can if on wifi cause it's so poor. Vodafone network definitely drains my mobile battery a bit quicker than Telstra network and I live 8 KM from Sydney CBD. If you're doing a quick swap for boost, get a physical Sim! Avoid their esim.

  • Can these be converted to esim?

    • nope, they make you buy $2 esim from their website

      • Thanks mate

  • Near perpetual situation.
Probably survives the flood of offers due to migrants using overseas features.
Boost gone to the crappers, speeds below vodapus. You pay peanuts what do you expect?

$29.90 for $9 is 70 GB though (35+35 bonus) = more gigs per dollar

  • Avoid LEBARA ….
The Price is GOOD .. network OK ( Vodaphone ) First SIM was FAULTY … to be replaced ..
Second SIM was out of DATE , OCT 2023
Third SIM has NOT been connected since 12 JAN 2024 ….
LEBARA Claimed that my iPHONE ^s+ is NOT wsupporting 4G LTE …which is a LIE …a BIG FAT LIE , confirmed byApple bar and Vodaphone ….
Then they make me ID , AGAIN … and Guess WHAT the checking is CLOSED on Week END ….
    Good LUCK with LEBARA !!!!!

    • Yikes! I haven't tried but need a SIM for a spare phone as Boost blocked me with something wrong. Not sure if I should just pay more for a Boost SIM instead. Was getting free Boost from Cashrewards/ShopBack

    • I move between others and Lebara all the time and I've had no issues - my service has always ported to them within a few minutes.
      That's a shame you've not had a good experience :/
