    Personally, i can not comment on how a B&S Engine compares to a Honda.

    We have a 2 year warranty on all of our products with the exception of the HWA 1001 water pump and the Hydro control.

    Repairs covered under warranty can be performed by your local B&S dealer.
    In the case of a claim, AL-KO is responsible for the transport of your mower to and from our authorized service agent.

    I have push mower. It works well for a small-median garden. I love it.
    However, I don't like a Soft Touch 38HM Comfort Catcher, it is easy to lose from the base.

    My basement floods during heavy rainfall

    Roughly 5mm of water. The 5mm is constant. ie if I mop and towel dry, it'll rise up again within a few minutes.
    Was looking at a wet vacuum cleaner but was wondering if the Drain6001 would do the job?

      5mm of water may prove to be too shallow for the Drain6001.
      Is there a low spot where the water runs to that is greater than 20mm?

    Thanks for recommending the Push Mower. It does a fine job on short grass and I use it regularly on my lawn.
    I am now looking at the petrol lawn mowers. What is the difference between the 650 ReadyStart engine and the 500 series? Is the 500 more difficult to start?

      thank you for your question.

      The 500 series requires priming where the ReadyStart Series on the 470BRV,520BRV and 5200BRV lawn mowers are self priming.

      In order to start the 650 ReadyStart Series engines, all you have to do is pull the starter toggle.
      It should also be noted that the 470BRV Lawn Mower - (650 ReadyStart), 520BRV Lawn Mower (675 ReadyStart) and 5200BRV Lawn Mower (750dov ReadyStart) have handle mounted throttle controls where the 430B &470B Lawn Mowers (500 series) have an engine mounted throttle which has been factory set to the optimum performance level.
