Meh, I happened to be browsing my local Myer yesterday and there was an additional 30% off the already reduced price of Unison - ended up with a linen shirt for ~$1 after using the $20 voucher I was sent for making a purchase last year. Website says there is no click and collect available on this item, and I was able to use that voucher, so I don't feel so bad about the lack of cb.
Can anyone confirm that using gift cards for payment denies cashback?
Some retailers still apprpve cashback with GC use even though cashbsck sites you cant.
T&C says cashback excluded when redeeming gift card
I know it says that but as i said, some retailers still approve it even though t&c say cashback is excluded when gift cards are used.
It used to work with myer(cashback even though it said it won’t) but this glitch was patched years ago
@Kenb0: Dont think it was patched. Mine still tracked with gift card payment. Wont know if it will get approved because they didnt have stock so it got cancelled.
@8azinga: I’m pretty sure it would eventually be rejected. I’ve not been able to get a cashback through paying with giftcard with myer for years now, they all end up being rejected.
Obviously it doesn’t cost anything extra to try(an extra click from shopback before buying anything) so I’ve been generally trying here and there with both cashrewards and shopback and no luck so far.

Logged a ticket and got a basic response from support on 23rd that they are looking into it. Nothing back yet though unfortunately.
Got a response today stating they have "submitted your request to our partner but have yet to receive a status update"
@jasperthegoat: Yeah same, sent a response saying the tracking isn't really to do with the merchant, but Shopback's own calculation of the bonus.
I raised a ticket and got mine resolved straightaway. I bought two items in two separate orders(to maximise cashback). One order, both westpac bonus and myer cashback was calculated correctly. The other order, the cashbacks(both westpac bonus and myer) seemed to be calculated at lower amount than what the order was for. Queried it with them, sent them the order to prove the amount I paid, and they said yup, you've followed all required steps, we'll just credit to you the missing cashback amount from the miscalculated cashback number.
