MUMCENTRAL

Note about expiry of deal:
I’ve been unable to find anywhere which indicates how long this discount will be available - the code was originally posted at mumcentral.com.au back on 12/12/23, and stated:

“ EXCLUSIVE OFFER: Mum Central readers can get their FIRST-YEAR HALF PRICE using the code MUMCENTRAL – a saving of $14.99 over the next 12 months. Hurry, though, it’s for a limited time only!”

However, I’ve received an email directly from MAMMA-MIYA today (23/01/24), which states:

“ Download MAMMA-MIYA today using this exclusive MumCentral code MUMCENTRAL and get 50% off our annual subscription, which gives you unlimited access to all features!”

About the App
The developers have a website for the App, but it seems to be running really slowly for me, and I found the summary info from the MumsCentral website provides a much better overview on what the App is all about. Some relevant extracts below:

” MAMMA-MIYA is the world’s first and only daily planner app designed for mums, by mums. Designed by mums who understand and care for the woman behind the many hats she wears. MAMMA-MIYA is the result of thousands of hours of conversations with mums around the world.

This data, paired with behavioural science, gives us a daily planner app to help busy mums organise their day-to-day so they can feel more balanced and fulfilled each and every day.“

  • Brain Dump
  • Manage your Hats (eg. Mother, Partner, Employee, Business Owner, Health Patient)
  • Productivity features, Sync with things like including AppleCal, Reminders and GoogleCal
  • Mindfulness features such as Gratitude Journal ‘Pause for a breath’ reminders
  • Period and Fitness Activity Tracker, which you can sync with Apple Health App
  • Set up daily routines for yourself and your kids
  • Add a Village to delegate tasks and jobs to others in your tribe
  • Pick your Top 3 most important tasks each day
  • Explore section is also loaded with mum goodness, including calendar templates such as School Term Dates, helpful lists including packing lists and back-to-school checklists, plus self-care ideas and real mum stories.

A Free version of the App is also available

Lol seriously. For a to do list. And you want to make it a subscription.
    No. Just no

  • Check list with notes
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/102296
    To-do with reminders
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/102484

And you can use Siri to dictate if needed

  • Pay someone to remember something to do? No.

  • Calendar apps come with your phone and are free and do the same thing

  • To be fair, this isn’t a todo list app but all-in-one designed for moms. Interesting concept of combining todo, calendar, notes, activity tracker, habit tracker and ability to change your role (hat)

This isn’t for me but if someone creates a similar general purpose app which does all of the above well, and doesn’t lock your data in, I would definitely pay for it, even subscription

Edit: I upvoted for the deal itself so people wanting to use it can take advantage of it, and not endorsing the app
