That said, if anyone manages to score this deal, please let me know
I need another pair of these.

I bought during the boxing day sale, but by the time customer support got to my order, it was limited stock to just 1 pair
I almost cancelled but holding out hope for a repeat same or 2nd hand pair

  • damn no stock in my local area for local pickup

  • just get it shipped, only paid $9 for postage from last deal

It appears they will only ship it if you're relatively close to a store with stock…

I would really love to see what the packaging looks like for those who have actually bought via this deal specifically… Reason-I went to Caroline Springs today and found 2 x sets, which matched the code (Barcode), thought I got lucky and asked at the counter, they came up at the RRP (75), I told them yes this is the same code as per the Website add, to which the girl at the counter responded, 'yes but the ones on the site are promo and are different boxes to this'. There was another box of the same stands which had a different barcode #. I left it at that. In my mind I still call it B.S.

    • Yeah didn't love my experience. Made me make an account only to tell me no stock

Although 2000kg is a lot, the working height of 422mm isn't very high. For anything other than basic stuff like an oil change you would be better off getting the more expensive options (they should mention min and max height in the specs or on a sticker on the product itself). The TTI 4000kg they sell goes from 392 - 613mm for $120. Some of the Ultimate gift cards work there so you might be able to get them for 10% off.

At SydneyTools the same model is painted in black and sold for $109 (Daytona T46001CA), despite the name they have locations all over the country.

You can also get 'jack stand pads' on ebay that will have a groove in them so the pinch weld on your car doesn't get damaged. Note that these should fit the narrower tops of the jack stands I mentioned, other models have a wider part that these pads might not fit.
