that the 10% off applies to Apple products

That’s because there’s a bite out of it.

  • +12

I was just reminding how long it’s been since I actually bought anything from Jerry. This poor offering won’t be changing things LOL

    • +9

But Jerry supports Optus! Are you un-Australian?

  • Whats the bite?

    • The Apple logo

      • +2

Technically that’s what’s left after the bite.

    • They took the bite to hide the rotten part.

  • More like 10% off iPhones. Don't see any other Apple products on sale in that link.

  • +1

Just got my new S24U yesterday from last Samsung promotion. Otherwise, I may buy iPhone 15 pro max but it's too late. Better screen and more interests, I'm into samsung now.

    • You loving your new S24U? The camera wowing you?

      • +1

I don't like take photos, but you can modify your system via Good Lock . 12GB DDR is pretty fast and wifi connection is better. But the clock setting is so bad, you need to turn it into unlimited on battery setting。

    • +17

With free airpods and apple watch

      • -4

        No, just the phone unfortunately.

        • +2

Could you pay with Apple gift cards in advance, over the phone?

          • @dangerdanger:

            in advance, over the phone?

Can’t make calls without buying the phone. Children and egg.

            • +1

@PainToad: So thats where children come from

    • +1

Must be from one of the scammers that asked you to contact one of their “official store” on facebook

    Come on JB or Officeworks

I have some ultimate gift cards to burn.

    • +3

      JB had theirs last night!

      • +1

        Apple was excluded
        :(

        • +4

Apple is the ugly step child of discounts

    • Would JB or TGG or Officeworks Pricematch/Pricebeat the Harvey Norman prices with coupon? Did anyone try?

      • +1

Too late now they’re closed and by 9am the deal will be gone.

        • Technically Officeworks opens at like 7am? And would still be open in the west for a few hours. But idk if they’d price match with a coupon or not.

          • +1

@OpticalCog: In the JB Hi-Fi thread for the 10% off last night, someone mentioned OW don't match coupons.

      • -1

Just came back from officeworks, the price beat including the coupon code discount worked. No stock of phone though at this store so click and collect order placed.

        • Good score. Paid with discounted cards? Is it a hit and miss the Pricematch/priceveat? Was it in-store or via phone the pricebeat!

          • @Scrooge McDeal: Personally didn’t have/couldn’t be bothered with discounted cards but price match and then price beat worked. All done in store. Store closed at 9pm.

            • @Arrow1107: Did you share a screenshot or showed them the website and the code?

              • @Hamlet: Showed website and code.

                • +1

@Arrow1107: Looks like its a hit and miss with pricebeat @ officeworks with coupon codes. I didnt get lucky like you the other day. The guy at the checkout was adamant that they don't Pricebeat with coupon codes.
But I did score iphone 15pro 128gb this morning @officeworks with Pricebeat costco and paid with gift cards, so, it was another 10% cheaper than this HN deal.

  • Great prices for apples

  • Doesn't seem to stack with the 15% off TV + matching brand soundbar offer unfortunately

  • +9

Awesome deal for iPhones. They're already $100 off and this 10% will stack. Makes a 15 Pro 256 GB $1753 rather than RRP of $2049.

  • +4

Does anyone know whether we can use multiple gift cards online?

    • +3

Hello, I just tried with 4 gift cards and it worked for me.

      • Thanks :)

    • Anyone tried with more than 4?

  • +1

No coincidence in the timing, the gift cards from the Boxing Day sale which gave an extra 10% of the value would have just expired.

  • $1573 iPhone 15 Pro 128gb is pretty good

    • Indeed!

  • 15 pro max is $1,888.20

    Tempting

  • Motorola G85 5G and G54 5G are both on special.

    Moto g84 5G 256GB @ $348, less 10% => $313.20.
    Moto G54 5G 128GB @ $248, less 10%…..

Same as last night's JB Hi-Fi Perks deal, but they didn't have any in stock in my area.

  • Nice deal, just grabbed a 15 pro 256 for $1753.20. Grabbed a case too as also applied the discount.

How is Harvey Norman with returns?

My current iPhone has stopped working, but won’t be able to go into apple until after the sale is done. Was hoping to buy it, see if need it and then either keep or return. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    • Nothing like officeworks. I stopped shopping @ HN few years ago when i had bad experience with returns.

    • +6

It sounds like you are primarily asking about change of mind returns.

Harvey Norman is notorious for being the sort of retailer that does not permit change of mind refunds.

      • If you look at the relevant policy for Harvey Norman’s online store, it says Until further notice, Harvey Norman Online® will not provide a refund where you have changed your mind about the goods you have purchased from Harvey Norman Online®.

      • A forum post from a year ago illustrated one perosn’s failed attempt to get a physical Harvey Norman store to agree to a change of mind return for an iPhone. (It is a little problematic to talk about physical Harvey Norman stores in this context, because physical Harvey Norman stores are either operated by Harvey Norman themselves or a franchisee, so policies may differ from store to store… but I bring up the forum post anyway, because it illustrates how I would expect a change of mind return to go at Harvey Norman.)

      • no obligation to accept return under ACL, and website states no change of mind returns.
most franchises will accept on good will it if its a small item or discussed prior to sale but any high value item eg iPhone, no chance.

        • Hi Tonyhawksbargains

Any way to get this deal again? I had it in my cart and missed out and CS was like we cant do it. JUst wnated to try my luck here. Looking at the 15 pro 256 gb

          Thanks

  • 15 pro max all time low. Gerry Harvey 💪💪💪

  • +2

Just got apple to price match the full 10% off at $2295 but not to Gerry’s price of $2203 for pro max 512. Explained that I couldn’t contact them before the sale ended and they accepted at face value. I think the extra service at apple and not giving Gerry attention is worth the premium.

    • Did you call Apple or live chat?

Cant seem to find a link for chat, or did you need to have an Apple login?

      • Called

        • Yeh ended up calling before seeing your reply , my guy out right refused and also sounded annoyed haha

  • Anyones order been placed ‘under review’?

Mine says on back order with delay now 😞
      Anybody got the same?

      • Same for me. First went to review and now back ordered. No wonder why nobody here seems to like HN!

    • Ordered at around 7.30 this morning. Placed under review. Ready for click and collect by 9.30

    • +1

Mine was processed by 08:30 and ready to collect. Already have my iPhone Pro 15 256B in my hand setting it up now.
