Brings me back all the way to Netscape days.

On topic: not a bad price for a hybrid inverter at all. Too bad I’m no longer in the solar game.

            • @[Deactivated]: Thanks, okay…let us check with our solar distributor and we get back to you here

            • @[Deactivated]: Also, we will find out on Monday as of course the distributor is closed over the weekend. As we won't be able to offer free shipping on potential solar panels it would be good if in the meantime you let us know how many panels you are after and what your delivery postcode is….this way all the info can be provided on Monday…again it would be easier if you email us directly but absolutely okay if you rather communicate here, thanks.

            • @[Deactivated]: Ok, this is what our distributor wrote:
JKM475 are the largest "residential" panels on the market. The Trina's are a "commercial" panel. They can be used, however, I would suggest looking at PS440 panels if your customer wants peak generation and cutting edge technology or alternatively if they just want a solid, aesthetically pleasing and value for money panel, I'd recommend the TW430's

              So:
              The JKM475(475W) are $154inc each.
              The PS440(440W) are $190inc each.
              The TW430(430W) are $125inc each.
These are special prices if ordered together with the inverter.

Let us know which ones you like so we can get a quote for shipping to lets say Adelaide 5000. Thanks

  • Does this support Ethernet connectivity?

    • Thanks, these are all the communication specs:

      Communication with BMS: RS485; CAN
      Communication with Meter: RS485
      Communication with Portal: Wi-Fi

So if you mean does it have an Ethernet/Lan connectivity for the portal/app, no, only Wifi is available.

  • Newbie question: Can this be hooked up to solar as well as a small battery like the recent deal "[VIC] LiFePO4 Pure Lithium 12.8V 200Ah Battery $1,377"?
    - though that one is rated at only 150A so 1.8kW.

    • Thanks, yes it can be hooked up to solar panels and batteries. However to be sure the battery is compatible, you would need to look at the manufacturers compatibility list:

      https://www.goodwe.com.au/Ftp/EN/Downloads/User%20Manual/GW_…

      • So needs to be a smart battery? I cannot just connect a dumb battery, and configure the max current etc?

        • Thanks, we sell all our products according to the specifications provided by the manufacturer so we really can't confirm this if it is outside of those specifications, our apologies

  • Would I be able to claim STCs on this for an off grid install
