The mob is fickle. They used to like it but it’s getting old.

    • ChatGPT generated.

  • +5

could i have another 20 inches please?

  • -6

The only issue with this is that its the same size as a 22" monitor that's extra long.

a 29" Ultra wide is like 2X 22" monitors side by side

The cheapest and best option is two 32" monitors side by side.. equivalent to a 60" Ultra wide .. if you can get one

    • +5

Your measurements are way off fyi.

      • i just used a tape measure on my 2X 32" Dell 165Hz IPS Monitors .. around 60" from bottom corner to top corner

        • +3

          Cool
This is a 29" 21:9 Ultra wide. It's not even remotely close to the size of 2 22inch monitors as you suggested.

FYI to get close to 2 32's side by side you'd be looking at a 57/58 32:9

I have no idea what your point is. Read it twice.

    • +11

Let me introduce you to DisplayWars

    • actually 34 inch monitor is like 1.5 x 22" monitor
the 49 inch is equivalent of 2 x 22" monitor

also 2 of 32" might be the cheapest but not the best option for gaming since you will have black bar in the middle

      • +1

Playing FPS games in 2 monitors, with the bezels dividing the screen is the stupidest idea.

wow ultrawide im proper impressed buying 10 as we speak

these are excellent for editing those big excel spreadsheets, I typically have thousands of columns and the extra space really makes a difference. with 10 I am able to make a concentric circle with me in the middle of course, my ergonomic office chair allows me to spin around and whoosh! i just read 10 monitors at once, ah the wonders of ultrawide

    • +11

You had me in the first half!

    • Don't forget watching movies/TV shows in anamorphic aspect ratios with no black bars on the top/bottom.

It seems this model is on sale now if you just google it. As low as $199.

    • +1

      Post the deal…

    • The model number you are referring to is the LG 29WL500-B

    • +3

This 29WL50S deal monitor has speakers

The 29WL500-B available for $199 everywhere else is display only

Unless you are ordering for C&C, this Amazon deal with shipping is better

    Thank you @scrimshaw

  • 34" UW is abit short already let alone a 29" UW.

  • I see the trend for home office setup is stacking two ultrawides as it's ergonomically friendly for back and neck while the ratio supports 4 or 5 active applications on the same screens

29" seems to be the perfect secondary monitor

    • +3

I think I'd prefer a 32" 4K over 2 stacked 29" UW. Unless the higher dpi of the 32" 4K is going to cause reading issues.
