  • Great for balding men in Melbourne (& soon elsewhere!)

  • So many haters Ozsalty has strikes back

How legit are the websites like cheers travel and kiwi.com? The price through the airline is about a decent bit more ($900 return on Kiwi vs $1300 on TA website)

Just like any of those other reseller sites. Fine until something goes wrong and you have to change flights, names, details. Then you get charged an arm and a leg.

      • …if you can even reach them

30 kg checked baggage is standard. Not sure why things or prices that used to be norm in the recent past, are being introduced like an amazing deal and people are okay with this.

    • 30 kg checked baggage is standard.

Until you book any connecting flights with another airline…

    • Even pre-covid this would have been a good deal

Just flagging that checked luggage is included, as many airlines are now introducing 'lite' fares that only include carry on. And actually I'd say 23kg is standard. 30kg is generous.

      • perfectly valid to flag the 30kg, esp with all the jetstar deals on here = NO luggage

Just trying to provide all the information :)

      not standard at all.
Take Air New Zealand as example who offer 23kg, but also offer a 7kg carry-on option for cheaper: https://imgur.com/a/MtMuPS0

Even Qantas does 23kg or 32kg depending on booking

    • because there are two ways businesses manage inflation:
      1. increasing prices;
      2. shrinkflation - offering you less inclusions to hide the inflation instead of increasing prices more.

It's hard to compare applies to apples once some competitors start cutting inclusions… so if most other prices no longer have it, it is noteworthy when still included (or reintroduced).

    • 23kg is standard in economy but increasingly there are even long haul flights without checked luggage and at this price some would assume no checked luggage, eg I recall cheap Etihad fares to Europe posted previously with no checked luggage.

    • Stamboul, Augusta Antonina, New Rome etc … such a critical city has had some history

  • Great deal - my balding head thanks turkish airlines.

  • Hey, i haven't researched, any obvious recommendations for connecting fligjts to Athens, thanks.
Reliable and cheap would be great, yes not normally in the same sentence, but asking on any real experiences (leaving mid June to late july) , thanks again.

    • Aegean or Turkish Airlines nonstop to Athens from Istanbul. Will cost around $100 - $150 one way
