there's a chance the refurbs are actually brand new, my refurbs were brand new, untouched. check older threads about refurbs.

If the refurb headphones are brand new then the price is warranted as a bargain. There's plenty of second hand stuff already on gumtree.

@dnw213: Nah I refuse to pay full price for anything, especially with tech when there's Black Friday deals lurking around at the end of the year. I also wouldn't purchase used headphones especially expensive headphones, unless they were worn only once or twice.

There is a major flaw with these headphones.
The headphones make an incredible high pitch sound whenever the microphone inside the ear cup gets a little sweaty.
It's so loud that it hurt my ears for days.
I was wondering why my old ones where doing this !! In Qld summer the moisture levels are elevated
