  • Any flight from Perth ?

    • No, they don't fly to Perth.

      • +1

        "Here for Allstralia" yeah right

        • +2

Don't worry, Perth is always complaining about seceding from the rest of Australia anyway.

  • +1

Didn't raise enough funds last time. Yawn.

Table 1: Total Industry On Time Performance for December 2023:

Bonza- 55% arrivals ontime. 52% departures ontime. 19% cancellations.

    So roll the dice folks!

    • damn. black or red!

    • +5

so you're telling me theres a chance

    • +2

I was going to make the joke that the flights were 50% off with a 50% chance of taking off at all.

But…no that seems to be about right. Yeesh, caveat emptor.

  • Their selection of destinations is very small and not at all useful to me. Nice prices otherwise.

  • +3

Unfortunately I think Bonza will fail, flying from Sunshine Coast to Mildura with 737 MAX doesn't seem like a great business.

my sister said its the only time she felt like she was going to die was when flying bonza. think ill pass

    • +5

      Tiger was way WAY worse!

    • +1

I’ve flown with Bonza six times and whilst one flight delayed three hours everything else went like clockwork. 8kg carry on (haven’t been asked to weigh yet) too as opposed to 7 with other airlines.

    • +3

I flew Ryanair from Rome to Athens once. Genuinely thought it was the end. :)

My flight got cancelled and still waiting for refund after 1.5 month. They don't have any contact numbers and live chat you will be waiting for ever. There is no way to contact these guys. If you are lucky you will get someone online and they will give you standard reply that they will escalate the issue.

    • +1

should just charge back from the card if you have confirmation of cancellation email from them.

      • They dont send any confirmation, just chat
I asked for reference number as well and they said we have chat history, dont worry we will refund. It's all doggy. I even sent email to their feedback email, they reply saying use chat.
I have been constantly following up with them. Same answer every time.

        • +2

Just do credit card charge back. No evidence is required.

  • +1

Where do they fly to ?…… website doesn't say !!??
No point installing their iapp f l don't know where they go

    • +2

No where. You get an all expenses paid (by you) trip to your nearest airport and then back home a few hours later.

  • So, I saw a flight Melbourne to Gold Coast for $67, it includes 8kg. But I can’t see an option to ‘add’ 22kgs as check in luggage. Does anyone know what that cost is?

    • I think it was another $40 for the bundle with a bag and seat selection (I don't care about seat selection but only way I could find to do it). Not bad as it was a $40 fair to begin with so $80 all up each way. Cheap Qantas fair I got recently was $150 each way and that's cheap for Qantas.
