  • Better than $650, thanks.

  • Price match with Bose and use a student discount coupon.

    • out of stock on the bose website - also, can you stack discounts like that?

      • Ah damn. Myer have the rest of the QC lineup on sale too. Not 100% sure about stacking the discount though but I’ve been meaning to try once the SEs drop further.

    • Pricematch only works on rrp according to the chat i just had to get the price match, they refund you the difference which is fking stupid.

  • Same price on amazon

  • Any have an opinion of these as an upgrade from QC45?

  • Waiting for the Bose Super Duper model to come out so I can part with an extra $600.

  • This or WH-1000XM5?

Just picked these up and they sound fkn amazing to me!
Mind you im coming from OG QC25s……..Bose app is a bit clunky though.

    • Just checking, do you have to retract the headband back to the shortest every time you put it in the case for it to fit? Thank you.

        Yeah you do.

      Are these grey import?

  • Note that the Self Voice (voice passthrough when calling) function does not work, potentially a firmware issue. The on-head detection is also quite dodgy, often pausing my music as I turn my head or move my mouth etc.

Bose has always been really slow on firmware updates so purchase with this in mind.

    • I disabled these 'features' on mine.

Wierd to me that the lowest price that they have ever been on ozb is the least upvoted - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/814761

    • I picked them up for $479 plus postage in December using the Good Guys price beat. By the time I went to post the deal it was gone.

I am a bit of a headphone nut.
I have bought and tested many many earphones, earbuds, headphones (on ear, over ear, wired, wireless, etc)
I bought a wired ear phone for $2 and as well as a fancy one for $300.
Blue tooth from $10 to $600, to $2000k. I have tried so many of them.

From my personal experience, a headphone for around $100 will provide all the good sounds and features a typical home users will need.
If you need a specific feature for work (for example a monitor headphone), then sure spend the extra money and buy the good gear. You will be claiming back at Tax Time.
The higher end sounded better but not that much better. Not worth the extra money we spend.

Take from this what you want, I am not giving advise, just sharing my POV.
