This is not an advertising platform.

  • Nothing cheaper than a Keychron K series, anyone got Filco experience?

bought a ninja 2, in 2019 terrible type feeling compared to keychorn Q series… not even close..

    • I have a Majestouch2 at work, love it.

All my other keyboards are either Ducky or Das, so can't compare it to a Keychron unfortunately.

  • I've got a Bluetooth Minila. Good keyboard - but I never really use it. Not because it's not good but because my Keychron Q1 Pro is such an outstandingly good keyboard. Next one down from that would be my Leopold FC750R, which is also terrific.

If you're truly looking for a terrific off the shelf typing keyboard I can highly recommend the Keychron Pro series.

    • Thanks, I was considering the Minila from this deal, but got the FC750R instead. I would've preferred a 60% form factor but we'll take what we got.

A whole lot of money for a no-frills keyboard with ABS keycaps

These are expensive for the market today, but Filco is a brand which has been around for a while before the keyboard market grew larger, so there didn't used to be a lot of options for high quality keyboards that weren't targeted at gamers.

So yeah not great value but I'll give them a pass due to the history.

I've got the Filco Majestouch Convertible 2 BT in Japan about 7 years ago and love it. I use it every day and battery lasts for EVER. I think I've only replaced them twice since I got it, maybe 3 times. I think at the time it was one of the only full size wireless mechanical. Even today there aren't many other options.

I would highly recommend. All other options look like toys with RGB and 'gamer' fonts, etc. Just wish they had a Mac version but I quickly got used to it.

I have a Filco Majestouch 2 TKL that I bought more than 10 years ago. Back then mechanical keyboards weren’t really a thing and Filco was considered a top tier keyboard. This thing is built like a brick and has survived more than 20 home moves (in boxes, suitcases, backpacks) for me. I still use it to this day, and would highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a simple and reliable mech keyboard that lasts forever.

yeah nah, no name brand with brand prices. sorry

nah, filco is a very well known brand with a great reputation. it was a high-end brand before most of the "brand names" you're thinking of existed.
